205 Rue de Lazenay, 18000, Bourges
Been here?
A large, tree-shaded parking area beside a pond, away from the city centre, with walking paths, picnic tables and nearby children’s games. The entrance barrier is broken, so there is currently no height restriction, although spaces are not very deep. It is often quiet, but morning traffic, loud music and a recent attempted intrusion into a vehicle have been reported. No services are available.

Space available, sheltered by trees, quiet, away from the center.
We arrived around midnight to spend the night and visit the town the next day. Around 1:30 a.m., someone tried to open the storage compartments and doors. I lowered a blind and waited. Nothing else happened. The next day, municipal workers came to clear vegetation. I told them about my troubles during the night; they said they were not surprised, but that the place is quiet during the day. Be cautious here.
40 degrees today! We appreciated being able to park in the shade with our 7.5-meter motorhome for our lunch break. Thank you very much to the municipality for leaving the entrance barriers open at this time of year!
Away from the road, shaded, and quiet. No height restriction. Path around the pond, picnic table, and unobstructed view.
Highly recommended in hot weather. Every pitch is shaded. Swimming is only somewhat suitable. The bathing ladder is unsafe and the lake bottom is overgrown. The area is inviting for a walk or bike ride around the lake.
Always accessible to all vehicles, although the spaces are not very deep and it is often necessary to park lengthwise. No problem in this season when there are few people, especially at night. A little noisy in the morning because of traffic on the nearby street.
Stopped during the day for lunch. Large, clean parking area with few people. The height barrier is still broken, so good news for motorhomes.
Dirty parking area and not very secure. In the end, we did not spend the night there.
Barrier open, access fine. Spaces suitable for vans. Parking area a little dirty and very noisy because of gatherings with music—several within a few hours this Sunday. Access to the pond and children’s games, with a nearby bin.
We were a bit disturbed by some loud music even though it was after midnight when we arrived. But overall, a good quiet place to spend the night. And yes the barrier is still broken and doesn’t look like that’s going to change. Les Nuits de Lumières is quite good to see though you do need to find a parking spot closer to town to go see it.
There is supposed to be a barrier, but it is open, so... Otherwise, an excellent parking area for a quick stop and perhaps even an overnight stay. Some offices and houses are nearby, as are cycle paths. Too far from the city!
Very large parking area close to the lake. Bike tour. The night was a little noisy because of a vehicle parked next to us for an hour, but the rest of the night was perfect.
