Maison de la Lavande

It seems idyllic, but unfortunately vans without toilets are prohibited at the site. Basically, it is only for motorhomes. Too bad for us. However, the bar staff were very kind and the ice creams were wonderfully refreshing in the heat. It would be good to clarify this in the description.

Exceptional setting in the Ardèche countryside, superb site. We slept very well before visiting the Maison de la Lavande the next day with the children, followed by a stop at the on-site shop and snack bar. Excellent.

Beautiful pitch on a meadow adjoining the lavender field, partly shaded by scattered holm oaks. No facilities for water or waste disposal. It is lovely to see that places like this can still be used for free today—many heartfelt thanks to the owners or the staff at the restaurant, bistro, shop, and museum, who were exceptionally friendly and accommodating.

Nothing to add to the previous comment; the site is magnificent, with plenty of space. Right next to the lavender museum. Remember to register at reception and arrive before 7 p.m., otherwise the barrier will be closed. Thanks to the museum director for this wonderful pitch.

Magnificent place. Very friendly owners, a visit and shop well worth the detour. We took wonderful photos with our three children, dog, and camper van on this property, which must indeed be kept clean. We had very kind caravaners next to us.

Lovely site next to the lavender fields. This privilege deserves respect for the hosting area. The owners care about being self-sufficient and, above all, being equipped with toilets, so as not to dirty a children’s treasure hunt in the woods or leave rubbish in the trees. Make sure to register in advance to obtain the code and badge. There is a small train tour through the lavender fields.

Beautiful motorhome site in nature next to the lavender fields. Simply choose a nice place under the trees and enjoy the peace. The only condition is that you must be self-sufficient. A free, shady pitch. (Note: this is a hosting area without services; you must be completely self-sufficient.) A superb visit, fantastic workshops for the whole family, and above all, a very welcoming and friendly team. An absolutely perfect combination! I confirm the previous comment, which unfortunately I had not read beforehand: do not leave rubbish outside overnight!

Very nice in every way! Remember not to leave your rubbish outside your vehicle, day or night, as wildlife may carry it away and scatter it through the scrubland.

Very welcoming, comfortable site with a magnificent view! We spent two nights here as a family. The first night we were alone, and instead of a wolf as in the previous comment, we had the discreet visit of a fox ;+) The second followed a visit to the lavender fields and its little museum. A very pleasant natural and cultural stop!

It is truly a wonderfully peaceful motorhome site. The staff are super friendly. We were surprised by how much space there is here, including in the shade. At night, there is no way to use the toilets. Very beautiful for one night!

A beautiful place among the lavender fields; there are plenty of shady spots, and the bar here at the farm is also a great place to relax and enjoy a spritz.

We stopped here yesterday afternoon and took part in the activities (little train, museum, distillation for €10 per person), enjoying this beautiful, wonderfully peaceful setting and the very friendly welcome from all the staff. We stayed one night surrounded by the scent of lavender in absolute peace and quiet. What a joy! We were supposed to leave the next day but would have loved to stay longer.

The spot looks really good. Unfortunately (and I completely understand), they only accept vehicles equipped with toilets. A good spot for our motorhome friends.

Very spacious pitches, an oasis of peace. Register before closing time so you have a ticket to place behind your windshield. Nice terrace where you can order food and drinks. Very friendly staff. The gate closes after closing time; you are given a code.
