Quiet free parking, no services

Excellent paved place for an overnight stop on the way to Spain. Next to the gendarmerie and within walking distance of a bakery and small grocery store. Plenty of space, quiet, rubbish bins, grassy strip, clean, benches.

Perfect... No shade but very quiet—the gendarmerie is next door lol lol, so we are certainly safe, and the museum is not far away and worth visiting for an overnight stay!!

Quiet place, less than 2 km from the motorway and next to the gendarmerie. In the village square you can enjoy something to eat or drink.

We had a good and quiet night. We have never felt as safe as during this stay in front of the police station. At first we were unsure whether it was actually allowed, but after several police cars passed by without saying anything, we spent the night there calmly. Thank you for tolerating it!

November 22, 2025. Thank you to the town for allowing us to spend a night in this parking area, without services but very secure because it is right in front of the gendarmerie. Double thanks, knowing there is a Camping-Car Park in the same town and that they clearly try to ban all parking around it. So a really, really big thank you to this town.

Great place for an overnight stay. We arrived late in the evening. The place is level and very quiet. There are rubbish bins but no other services. In the morning we noticed that the National Gendarmerie was directly beside the place. You probably cannot park anywhere safer!

Level place in this municipality with essential shops. Be aware that you can clearly hear the A20 at night.

Simple parking area next to the gendarmerie. Very quiet night. Thank you to the municipality for allowing us to stay overnight. We bought bread and cake at the bakery on Avenue de la Libération (very friendly and very good), made other purchases at the unusual grocery shop, and stopped for refreshments at Chouchou—all to support local businesses.
