Boulevard du Jardin Exotique, Cap-d'Ail
Been here?
A roadside parking area useful for visiting Monaco, with lifts and a bus stop nearby. Parking is paid at less than €2 per hour; one stay cost 3,60€ for 17h, while Sundays and public holidays are free. Spaces are narrow, and the road is heavily trafficked, making the site very noisy at night.

Maybe suitable for a van. Leaving your motorhome protruding well onto a busy road is a matter of personal choice, but I could not leave my motorhome in those conditions.
If you can find a parking space, it is a very good starting point for exploring the city. Free on Sundays and public holidays. Because of the large difference in elevation between the car park and the harbor, the public elevators in the city are highly recommended.
We parked here with our L2H2 Crafter to visit the city. We found a good spot and were able to park very cheaply: €3.60 for 17 hours. Wow! We arrived around 3–4 p.m. I cannot recommend it for sleeping; it is very loud.
Nearby and safe place to park a motorhome when going into the city. Bus stop nearby. Paid parking, but less than €2 per hour.
We parked without any problems on the road above the spot shown in the picture, as there were no spaces available here.
We arrived from Saturday late afternoon until Sunday. The center is 30 minutes away, and five minutes away there is a bus that takes you to the casino in 16 minutes. Easy access for motorhomes. Very noisy at night, however. I still recommend it for visiting Monaco.
It was suitable for one night. The parking area is a little narrow, but buses could still pass us. Free on Sundays. There is still quite a lot of traffic at night, even before the season. About a 20-minute walk to the city.
Fine for one night; we stayed here with our 7.40 m motorhome from Saturday night, free of charge because Sundays are free.
The spaces are a little narrower, but it was not a problem. Great for visiting Monaco. Three minutes from the site there is an elevator that takes you down, where two more elevators continue depending on where you want to go. Under the first elevator there is a bus stop from which a bus takes you straight to the center.
Perfect spot for visiting Monaco, within a comfortable walking distance! We parked here with a 7.1 m MB Sprinter and folded in the mirror closest to the road since it was a bit narrow. We stayed here on a Sunday, so it only cost €0.8 for the whole day for us. Highly recommended! We managed without getting a ticket, even though we took up about 1.5 spaces with the overhang
I was giving up on visiting Monaco because of the difficulty of parking when I found this street. I later discovered that, by going back a little, there is a public elevator that leaves you near the tourist attractions.
Good to visit Monaco for the day but I received a parking fine when I returned back to the van for not being in the lines fully. And my van isn’t that large.
Good for a quick visit, but be prepared to buy replacement mirrors: fast cars pass very close to the motorhome and the parking space is narrow.
Very good location, but very noisy from 6 in the morning; it seems like a vehicle race with cars entering Monaco one after another. Those leaving pass so close that they shake the motorhome. The X2 bus stop is 100 m away and takes you to the casino in no time for €1.50. We arrived on Sunday at 8 p.m. and there was space for two or three motorhomes.
