Been here?
Camping Mare Monti is a well-kept campsite above Sestri Levante, offering sea views, clean sanitary facilities and pitches with electricity and fresh water. It is often crowded, with closely spaced vehicles and limited privacy, although nights are generally quiet. A free morning and evening shuttle connects the campsite with the railway station for visits to the Cinque Terre. The access road is steep, and swimming-pool users need bathing caps.

Very well maintained but somewhat overcrowded. The view is great.Translating
Good campsite, but personally it was too crowded and cramped for us. Motorhomes, caravans, and cars are packed tightly together, with no privacy. The sanitary facilities are fine and there is a shop selling food and drinks. Swimming caps are required for the pool. The road to the campsite is steep, which should be considered if traveling by bicycle.Translating
When I called and said that we had an eight-metre campervan, I was told there was still space but that reservations were not possible. Half an hour later we arrived and it was very narrow and cramped. The lady was extremely unfriendly and asked whether we had a reservation. I explained that I had called and that this was not possible. We were told to go and look, but there is simply no space for a large camper.Translating
Very beautiful, well-maintained, and quiet campsite. Excellent pitches. Very friendly staff. Sanitary facilities are clean. Recommended.Translating
Quite remote, but with a beautiful view! In the morning you can be taken free of charge by shuttle to the train station and picked up again in the evening. From there, the Cinque Terre are easy to visit. Otherwise, the campsite is well maintained and the sanitary facilities are excellent. You do not have to pay extra for a hot shower. Swimming caps are required in the pool, so it is usually very empty.Translating
We spontaneously spent one night here. The site is above Sestri Levante. Check-in was very straightforward, and we were even allowed to choose one of the available pitches. Electricity and fresh water were available directly at the pitch. The shower and toilet were somewhat old but clean. One point deducted for the water temperature and the somewhat dangerous route into town along the road.Translating
Beautiful, quiet site. From Sestri Levante, the Cinque Terre can easily be reached by train. Very well-maintained sanitary facilities.Translating
Beautiful, quiet campsite. We were there last year, but unfortunately the swimming pool was closed because of poor water quality. They were able to give us a pitch spontaneously even with a nine-metre camper, and everyone was very friendly and helpful. The bay by the sea is simply wonderful.Translating
Campsite near Sestri Levante; the town center cannot be reached on foot. A free shuttle to the train station is available for guests. Spacious pitches in greenery, each with its own water tap. Friendly, helpful staff. Timed hot showers. Washing machines available. There is a bar and mini-market on site. Cost for two nights, two people including tourist tax: €66. Bathroom cleanliness could be improved.Translating
Very friendly welcome, beautiful quiet site, good service with a shuttle to the train station, and food service open from Easter Saturday. Very good sanitary facilities, with minor deductions for the water temperature in the shower area.Translating
Very beautiful campsite, extremely clean sanitary facilities, friendly and helpful staff, and a private water connection for every pitch.Translating
Very beautiful campsite with a great view. We paid €32 per day for a camper and two people, including everything. The location is somewhat remote. There is a shuttle to the nearest train station, but it only runs once in the morning and once in the evening. Great for relaxing; unfortunately, the location makes excursions somewhat inconvenient.Translating
A great campsite. We stayed here for three nights to hike through the Cinque Terre and cycle to Portofino. With the shuttle from the campsite to the train station and the train, it is very easy to get everywhere. The bar and small shop have everything you need. Sanitary facilities are basic but clean. Highly recommended!Translating
Super beautiful, peaceful campsite with everything your heart could desire. I stayed three nights—fair prices and everything in perfect condition!Translating
Beautiful view, and some of the sanitary facilities are already new.Translating
A very beautiful place above Sestri Levante with lovely pitches, its own outdoor sink, very friendly operators, clean modern sanitary facilities, beautiful views, and everything you need. Shuttle bus to the train station; on foot, it takes about 25 minutes uphill from Riva Trigoso station. We visited the Cinque Terre and Genoa by train. It was wonderful!Translating
Everything u need in a camping place. Toilets, showers and a Pool. We filled up water, charged the car and threw our waste away. Stayed one for night but not because it was bad, because we wanted to go on with our trip.
Fantastic campsite with sea views, a pleasant pool, a small bar and snack bar—the best. Very affordable price: €58 per night for four adults. We booked three nights but stayed five. Shuttle to the beach and train for the Cinque Terre and Portofino—perfect. We recommend it.Translating
We stayed for two nights. The campsite is very quiet, the staff are friendly, the bathrooms are clean, and the showers are free but timed. We came with a 7.5-metre motorhome, which is not recommended because the pitches are not very large and maneuvering repeatedly is somewhat difficult.Translating
We stayed for four nights and it was very good. The pitch even has its own sink. The pool is fine, although it could use more chairs and loungers, and the bathrooms and showers are clean. There is a free bus to the village. The negative aspects are the lack of grass and the dog area, which is very inconveniently located and still unfinished—a dirt patch reached after descending several stairs.Translating
We liked it very much! Pool, a small food and drink offering with a great view from the terrace, and a small shop. Every pitch has an outdoor sink. The sanitary area is clean and perfectly adequate. Friendly welcome. Good bus connection to the beach.Translating
Beautiful pitches, some with a sea view. Many regular visitors, but very friendly staff. Ideal for visiting the Cinque Terre: free shuttle every hour down to the station. The pool is large and not very busy.
