25924, Rodenäs
Been here?
This is a daytime parking area in a nature reserve beside the German-Danish border, with views of the sea and many wild birds. Overnight stays are prohibited, and dogs must be kept on a leash. The site has no infrastructure, and it is not reachable by motorhome from the south; access there is only on foot or by bicycle.

We were there to visit the area before entering Denmark.
Unfortunately not accessible from the south by motorhome, only on foot or by bicycle.
Great view and lots of nature. Right next to the border fence. However, it is a nature reserve, so parking is only allowed during the day.
Daytime parking area. Beautiful walk along the dyke with a view of the Hindenburg Dam.
Overnight stays are not allowed, but it is beautiful for walking. You can watch sheep and the trains to and from Sylt.
Lonely spot. No infrastructure whatsoever. No signs whatsoever.
Magnificent stopover. Complete respect for this superb place. Thank you.
Nature reserve!! Overnight stays prohibited. Super beautiful landscape. There are various signs along the route identifying the area as a nature reserve. Dogs must be kept on a leash. Access via the extension of Norddeich Straße, 25924 Rodenäs, is possible.
Overnight stays are prohibited, as everywhere in Schleswig-Holstein outside official sites; anyone caught pays 100 euros plus fees, and in repeat cases double that. Recently, the police have become less tolerant of wild campers.
Beautiful place to park. Large gravelled/paved parking area. No toilet, shower or electricity available.
Beautiful daytime parking area. Warning when approaching with Google Maps: the route from the south along the coast is only a dyke road and is closed. Google does not know the approach from the village of Rosenkranz along the border, but driving is allowed here.
