A large, quiet hiking park near the Eifelsteig, with evenings that are especially calm and dark. It is busier during the day with walkers and cyclists, and there are no facilities. A restaurant is approximately 200m across the street and is recommended after walks. The village road closure has ended, although some barriers and final works remain.

The road closure through the town has ended. There are still barriers here and there, and final work is still being carried out. The restaurant is recommended after hikes, with a beautiful outdoor terrace in sunny summer weather.
Currently, until presumably the end of 2025!!! Storage area for rubble and sand, but usable from Friday afternoon over the weekend. The road through Venwegen is closed. Access only from Mulartshütte. Please follow the diversion signs to Hotel Restaurant Birkenhof.
Beautiful large place that is quiet in the evening. Busier during the day with walkers and cyclists. Very dark at night. We were the only ones there. No facilities, but we do not need them. We saw no buses turning around.
Very quiet place, level and spacious from our perspective. We could not find a bus stop or no-parking sign. There is room for at least 10 motorhomes. The restaurant across the road has interesting daily specials. For those who need it: no satellite reception because of the vegetation. Great for self-sufficient motorhomes.
