Been here?
This is a large bus turning-circle near houses, rather than a quiet river walk. A busy railway line runs directly behind it, with trains causing considerable noise, and activity at the nearby Scout building continued until 11:30. The space is large enough for buses to turn if visitors park considerately.

The description is very misleading. It's a bus turning-circle near to some houses and a busy main railway line. We parked here on a Thursday night, and people were still coming out of the Scout building at 11:30. They were no problem, but the trains were REALLY noisy. Don't come here if you're sleeping upstairs in a pop-top. Even with earplugs, it was futile trying to sleep and we moved on.
Not the worst place in the world, and it’s certainly big enough. But I wouldnt sleep here unless desperate. Made a coffee and moved on
It is a bus turning circle however it is massive! So park with consideration but the bus should be able to get around in half the space. Train line is every 10-20 mins but didn’t bother me once i was asleep.
The picture is a bit misleading as it is of a bus turning circle! However, there is a Scout hut next to it with 3 parking bays which doesn't have any signs for restrictions. it's quiet after the train line which is directly behind it, stops running but they really aren't that intrusive. It's out of the way and has a good dog walking area aswell.
