1 Localita' Palazzaccio, 53041, Asciano
Been here?
This is a shaded roadside spot beneath large pine trees, with views and room for 3 to 4 vehicles. It is suitable for an overnight stay, with very little traffic in the evening and almost none at night. The road becomes busier from 8 in the morning, and the nearby abandoned farm buildings have maintained grass around them.

Perfect for a break!
Great place, super quiet. Almost no traffic at night.
Fine for one night, but no more. Little traffic. Space for three or four vehicles. Easy access. Please take your rubbish with you.
Thanks again for this review. We spent a very peaceful night in this beautiful place, with little traffic in the evening, none at night, and only morning traffic from 8 a.m.
Thanks for the tip! Lovely quiet spot surrounded by nature and fabulous views on way up. It’s by a quiet secondary road. The old farm buildings are abandoned but the grass is cut and maintained. No signs at all te stopping. Spent one night here on way to Sienna. Room enough for 2/3 campers of 6-7 mts. Thanks to whoever owns the land.
Beautiful place to spend the night.
Quiet place for the night, with little overlooking. The ground is a little sloped but not a problem for sleeping. No noise, just a few cars passing in the morning. No road traffic at night. The only downside is a pile of glass bottles nearby, but there was no bad smell.
There are very few shady spots in the area. This place is a blessing! So secluded behind this typical old barn, we stopped here all afternoon. It is possible to spend a peaceful night here because even during the day the road is very, very quiet.
Perfect for a shady lunch break during the summer heat.
The access road is closed with a barrier!
Spent a quiet night, nice place, a shame it is very close to the road, even though it is lightly trafficked.
Pleasant place with views of the cypress trees, and some traffic on the road in the morning. However, it is a hunters' parking area on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Beautiful place, exactly as described. Unfortunately, there is a lot of rubbish around; please take the toilet paper with you too.
