Wild pitches lie along the track leading to Lac de Bareilles, with several places near hiking trailheads. The area is calm and scenic, but there are very few level spaces and it is popular at weekends, even out of season. A small strong stream creates constant white noise, and fires are prohibited. At the large car park, take the track to the right; about 5 km of good track follows.

Several places to stop overnight along the track and near trailheads. The area is quiet and pleasant, and the view is worth the trip! There's no longer a picnic table with benches as seen in the first photo. There's a small but strong stream right next to the spot, so you'll enjoy white noise 24/7 from its tiny waterfalls.
