Great location, very kind staff, everything we needed! Clean sanitary facilities, a small kitchen and a washing machine included in the price. We planned to stay one night but spontaneously extended our stay. We will come back when we are in the area!
Attention: the ground is soft when it rains. We arrived after seven and were able to check in online. The toilets and showers are very clean, and there was plenty of hot water. The site was busy but not overcrowded. There is a well-equipped kitchen for cooking. Everything you need is available. The grey-water disposal is not very practical; it is difficult to access.
Small, pleasant campsite by the river. The pitches are very cozy, but without electricity we were allowed to stay on the tent field. The free washing machine is great, but due to today's mentality it is constantly occupied by five or six loads, blocking it for more than an hour. For us it was not useful anyway, since there was no dryer. Good value for money, and the two Argentinians are great.
great facilities and amazing location. Super friendly staff, highly recommend this camping site
Cozy spot, no crazy noise. Lovely argentinian couple there. Insanely clean toilets and showers. Enjoyed.
We spent two nights here in the van and were very satisfied. Everything was clean and the location was quiet. Showers and washing machine are included. The hike to the waterfalls in the adjacent valley can start directly from the campsite and covers about 18.5 km / 6 hours on very easy paths, apart from the last kilometre.
Just what we needed for the night. Everything worked and there's a relaxed atmosphere.
Pros: Friendly operators, conveniently located near Vettisfossen. Basic, functional and clean facilities. Relaxed atmosphere. Showers and laundry included in the low price. Cons: No dryer; drying room barely ventilated, so drying takes forever. Grey-water disposal is structurally barely accessible for even standard panel vans, making clean emptying difficult, even with the supplied pipe.
We were very satisfied: the site is great, the sanitary facilities are new and clean, and hot showers are included. Due to the rain, the ground was a little soft—be careful when maneuvering! The only downside is that the grey-water disposal station is positioned so awkwardly that we could not use it even with a 6-meter vehicle. Otherwise, top-notch!
Campsite in a very beautiful setting. Route along the river to a large waterfall. All campsite services included (electricity extra), including use of the kitchen, all for €30. Very friendly staff.
I don’t get the last bad review. Everything is very lovely. Water quality is perfectly normal, clean and warm showers, hot water and good water pressure, washing machine is for free, and the view of the mountains around is magnificent.
Small campsite with several old caravans, surrounded by stored scrap. The sanitary facilities were very dirty. Dirt particles and algae were floating in the "drinking water," so we now have to empty and clean our entire water tank. For us, the site was an absolute last resort, and we would have been better off leaving.
Very nice campsite. We slept in a hut, which was also fine. I thought the hut was somewhat expensive, but you can use the toilets, showers and kitchen for free. The kitchen has all the cooking equipment, and you can sit outside on a picnic bench. Perfectly fine!
Good reception. Showers included. Fair price.
Very nice and cosy place, kind people in the reception. well equipped kitchen, nice showers with no limit or coins, washing machine... and right on the vetisfossen rout.
Good facilities near a wonderful river. After a short hike you reach a great waterfall. A little farther on there is a charming little café with a warm-hearted owner. Definitely try it. One star deducted because the site is very muddy and there is a risk of getting stuck. Grey-water disposal is almost impossible for large motorhomes.
Showers are included. Unfortunately, the site was extremely wet, although it had also rained a lot in recent days. The service station was somewhat awkward to access, especially the grey-water disposal.
I found it very nice, quiet and cosy here.
A nice campsite with friendly staff. Good toilets and showers, except that the toilet paper and hot water had run out. Okay kitchen. Clearly marked pitches and level ground. Good starting point for hiking to Vettisfossen. The price for one night with a motorhome, electricity and four people was about 360 NOK.
I give it 3 stars: + We arrived late and could check in online + Spacious pitches + New shower facilities + Washing machine (2 x 10 NOK for 90 minutes) - Not enough electrical hookups for the motorhome pitches - No dryer for drying laundry - Cold water in the shower - Too few washbasins at the showers/toilets -
Two-star campsite — good price, 300 NOK without electricity. Facilities are basic: insufficient toilets. There was a warning at the showers to shower for a maximum of five minutes because of the hot-water supply—and indeed, we had cold water!
Everything here is almost perfect. You can barely hear the road next to it. In bad weather, you should not drive onto the meadow at the back. It was not a problem for me despite the rain. The Wi-Fi is excellent and the sanitary facilities are clean and modern.
Friendly hosts for the season, good sanitary facilities, kitchen available, washing machine and drying room, beautiful location.
Lovely campsite with a friendly welcome. Large new showers. Everything clean and tidy. You are parked on grass. No Wi-Fi for part of the way from reception. Beautiful nearby walk to Vettisfossen waterfall.
We spent two nights here. Since it was the low season, there were very few people and we had almost the entire site to ourselves. The large shower cubicles are worth mentioning—great when travelling as a family. The kitchen is fully equipped. The staff were very friendly. The nearest village is a 30-minute walk away. Great path along the river and many waterfalls.
Excellent campsite with clean facilities and large showers. Very friendly operators who immediately offered help when our van had a small problem. We extended our stay to two nights and would return anytime.
Very cute, small but excellent campsite. Nice staff, sanitary facilities always clean. We cooked in the kitchen. The pitches were muddy due to the weather.
