2 Rue de la Place, 80360, Curlu
Been here?
Parking spaces are available in front of the church and town hall, with a bar-brasserie-pizzeria 50m away. The setting is near the Somme, although the river view is not fully open from the parking area. It is usually quiet, but fireworks caused a disturbance on one recent arrival.

Unfortunately, I arrived there in the dark, which can sometimes feel strange anyway when you cannot see the surroundings. I went straight to bed and had the fright of my life after 5 minutes. Maybe it was a bad joke, but fireworks went off right in front of the van—as a woman travelling alone, it was not funny. I got straight back behind the wheel and drove on. What a shame!
Very pleasant place—we slept peacefully.
Not really a beautiful place. The village is practically deserted, apart from the pizzeria. There is no real open view of the Somme. Drive another kilometre and you will be right on the Somme.
Small village with a beautiful view of the Somme and its ponds. You can park level in front of the town hall. Beautiful church and bar-restaurant with a very friendly welcome. Be aware that we could not find any bins!
Quiet overnight spot, with some noise in the morning from the waking local community. We also took a great walk along the Somme. Highly recommended, although in winter you should wear good walking shoes because it can be wet.
Lovely parking place. Lovely view over the Somme. Nice 10k walk route past historical landmarks. A bar / cafe next door, the only one for miles. No bread within 10km! Very peaceful. Nice locals.
lovely peaceful spot nice view of the river Somme, what a autocacavan is for.
