Camping Les Acacias

A lovely place to spend time in nature. Close to the river but needed to take a little walk down to find a spot deep enough for swimming. Kayak trip leaves from the site and they collect you when finished. Very nice family who work here. The Sunday Market in Saillans is also worth a visit. We would definitely stay here again.

Very friendly operators. We were the first and only guests on 01/04/24. The sanitary facilities were not yet operational, so they gave us the key to a cabin where we could use the shower and toilet. They even baked fresh baguettes for us in the morning—great service! Beautiful site directly by the river, very quiet and absolutely relaxing. Perfect for a break. We spent four nights at this very pleasant campsite. It was very quiet, although we were there after 15 August. The pitches by the river are very pleasant, while the others are nicely shaded. The only drawback is that you can hear the road and passing trains, but it is not too bothersome.✦Translating
