Brilliant place for sightseeing. From 2 p.m. on Saturday, parking is free. We slept here very peacefully and safely.
After searching for an hour, we parked our camper here to explore the city. It seemed safe, unlike the previous places, which did not feel that way. No height restriction and €2.50 for the day. Very well located, not far from the city centre and not far from the fortress. When we returned, there were three other campers there.
Attention: there are people copying the key’s signal to steal. Beware.
Good shaded parking for visiting the city. Although if you want to go to the old town, there may be a closer option.
Very good car park. No height restriction. Twenty minutes on foot to Carcassonne's Cité. Three hours of parking cost €2.60. We were only here during the day. The car park is shaded by many tall trees.
Beware, there are people around copying the car key's radio signal and then calmly robbing the camper!
