This is a designated gravel parking area for motorhomes, close to the bike park and a good starting point for the Großer Arber. Overnight parking costs 20€ + Kurtaxe for 24h, with no other service, while daytime parking costs 4€ at the machine. Nights are quiet despite the road beside the site. Many nearby parking areas have motorhome prohibition signs, so the designated spaces must be used.

You have to be careful where you can park a camper—there are many prohibition signs. At the campsite you can use the QR code if you want to stay overnight, but those staying only during the day pay just €4 at the machine in the booth.
€20 plus tourist tax for 24 hours on a gravel site with no other services. The night was quiet despite being right beside the road. Good starting point for the bike park and Großer Arber.
There are enough specially designated motorhome spaces at the bike park, on Brennesstraße by the former hotel and directly in front of it.
Warning: even after researching on foot, there are prohibition signs for motorhomes everywhere. The very unfriendly parking attendant even forbids parking during the day. Arber, never again unfortunately.
