We stayed for two nights, excellent, a very good three-star campsite, magnificent panorama, access to the village via the greenway. The pool was really great during our heatwave visit, and there is a castle to visit nearby.
Three-star site with a pool and beautiful pitches, some beside the Seine for an additional fee, with a view of the château—unfortunately it was not illuminated yesterday. Clean sanitary facilities with soap and paper. The only issue was that the washing-up water was not properly hot despite the adjustable setting. A great stopover on the way to or from Brittany.
A truly great campsite with everything you need. Friendly staff, clean sanitary facilities. The pool was also great. The dishwater temperature can be adjusted. The wristband prevents unwanted visitors. After three weeks touring France, this was the best site. Shopping facilities right nearby. Great value for money. What more could you want? We would gladly come back here.
Loved this site. Right by the Seine, very pretty old town with old buildings and the castle on the hill, right above the site. Good pitches, showers and pool. ACSI card £22 a night in June. We will come back here again
Very nice campsite with huge pitches. Great view of the castle. Clean and well maintained, including the pools. In our shower, where the temperature could not be adjusted, it was far too hot. After about 1–2 minutes, however, it was perfect. Restaurant not recommended. But highly recommended as a stopover, especially since the pitches are easy to access.
Well-maintained campsite with large pitches between mobile homes. Pitches are assigned. Unfriendly reception. Cold water for washing dishes. Lukewarm shower. Sanitary facilities not very well maintained. Wristband must be worn.
Spacious pitches, very nice place. Lovely walk to old Andelys and the surrounding area. Friendly welcome and restaurant. We stayed 3 nights over a quiet weekend. Water only just hot enough for the shower and cool to lukewarm for washing dishes; it could be better... We will come back.
The campsite is beautifully laid out and wonderfully located between the Seine and Château Gaillard, but the shower rooms are not really warm and, accordingly, the water is very refreshing; the temperature cannot be adjusted. Les Andelys can also be reached on foot in 15 minutes.
Beautiful pitches, grassy and especially very large. Well located near the village. But the hot water is not hot, neither for the shower nor, especially, for washing dishes. What a shame.
4G and TV via antenna available.
Large grassy pitches and several hardstanding ones. Nice campsite, opened today, so it is still quiet with plenty of choice after reception first selected a pitch for us, although we were also allowed to choose another. Sanitary facilities clean, but the dishwashing water did not get hot. Only one sanitary block open. Unfortunately, the indoor pool could not be used.
Good campsite but in a hollow. No 4G and no possibility of using a satellite antenna.
This was a lovely site clean and welcoming facilities good lots to see in surrounding area. bike rides in all directions from site.swimming pool good heated. Market Saturdays town and carrefour a short easy cycle away. lots of river activity on Seine.
Lovely campsite beside the Seine. We were given a very warm welcome. The pitches are large and well defined. €21 per night with ACSI. Close to the town centre and very convenient for walking up to the castle. We recommend it.
Nice, helpful camping team, great pitches with views of the château, the Seine and its side channel. Toilets with paper, showers clean and spacious. ACSI pitches €16 for one person with a motorhome. The road may be somewhat noisy depending on circumstances, but I slept very well. Completely satisfied. Thank you very much.
Friendly and helpful welcome. Lovely campsite beside the Seine. Swimming pool and children's games are excellent. The only downside is cold water for washing dishes and an unsuitable tap.
Quite large and noisy; you have to like that. E-scooters and bikes traveling at dangerously high speed. At least it is quiet ;-) Good: Friendly, helpful and humorous lady at reception, generous pitches, many trees and hedges, which look nice. Sanitary buildings are fine with great showers, with no male/female separation. Some pitches are directly by the river; book in advance. Service point is useful. Great castle and town! Thanks!
A great campsite on the Seine, with a swimming pool, within walking distance of the old town and the castle ruins, a wonderful viewpoint. We paid only €63 for 3 adults and a dog, without electricity. There is a large unpartitioned meadow, so there is almost always a place available at short notice. We liked it very much and will stop here again when passing through.
Very beautiful and quiet campsite with a view of Château Gaillard on the banks of the Seine. There is a beautiful cycle path along the Seine.
Great place, lots of shade, large pitches and friendly staff. Plus views of the castle and the Seine. Happily again!
We did not spend the night at the campsite. However, we visited the Château Gaillard ruins and, honestly, paying €7 for that is borderline robbery!!!
We spent 2 nights at this campsite, €65 for 2 adults and 1 van. The setting is pleasant and the pitches are large. You can walk to the château and visit the town. The château visit is expensive for 15 minutes... €7 admission. The only downside is that there is no hot water for washing dishes, only cold water! I have never seen that! The showers are adequate.
Beautiful site but disastrous reception. Not a word of English and very unfriendly. We had to wear wristbands and, after she shouted at us, even show them when walking into town. The washrooms are okay, but are not cleaned during the day. Not nice. The night cost €35.
Pleasant campsite, hot showers and pool. Cycle path right outside leading to Vernon; ideally go via Courcelles, which is much better by bike, with almost no shared roads. Great Scottish atmosphere on Friday. Price-wise, I paid €61.40 for two adults and two nights in a motorhome with electricity; still a little expensive, but the scenery is beautiful.
In the low season we paid €19 here, everything included: shower, pool and electricity. Very good restaurants in the town, and from the castle ruins you have a wonderful view of the sunset.
Price quite high compared with others, but electricity, shower, large pitch and everything else are included. Easy to charge my Tesla at 10–13A. Very child-friendly; they will love it. Water tap next to our pitch, though not all pitches have one because they are different categories. No English-speaking staff. Book your pitch online for convenience.
Beautiful spacious pitches. Clean sanitary facilities. Friendly staff. Excellent! Accepts ACSI card.
What pitches! A great discovery. Clean and pleasant campsite, exceptionally well located, with cycle paths and walking routes. However, the phone network is terrible, a dead zone... and you have to pay for Wi-Fi! What a shame.
Excellent campsite. Everything is available for a pleasant stay. Nothing to complain about, except that the showers are too hot. The surroundings are magnificent, beside the Seine and below the château of Richard the Lionheart. Lovely walks are possible on foot or by bike. ACSI campsite. We will return.
Arrived here and immediately booked another night as there was so much to do for the young one, 2x bouncy castles, a park and 2x swimming pools, one of which was warm. A lovely place next to the river and a 20 minute walk into the centre. We had pizzas at the restaurant on site and they were incredible! The only issue we found was that the showers were boiling hot. Phone signal wasn’t the best.
Very nice campsite with an indoor pool, a beautiful pitch partly covered with shale for motorhomes, and very clean sanitary facilities with paper and soap. Very quiet place. Lovely little village. €22 per night with 6A electricity and FFCC discount. Very welcoming staff.
Lovely location, warm showers, spacious pitches. Short walk to the castle and to town.
Our third time at this campsite. A good place for a stopover. €22 with ACSI for 2 people, electricity and a medium-sized motorhome. The ground is somewhat soft because of the heavy rain. The managers help think through a suitable pitch. Absolutely top-notch.
Large pitches separated by hedges. The sanitary facilities were fine, and we also enjoyed the swimming pool.
Beautifully situated site directly on the Seine below the castle. Very large pitches. The site is well maintained. Sanitary facilities: grade 3. In some showers the water is so hot that you cannot stand underneath it.
