Power plant parking, no overnight stays

Large parking area, with some possibility of finding a spot sheltered from the wind. Very few visitors in October, so it was pleasantly quiet. There are several hiking routes nearby, some of which even cross the Danube.✦Translating

We took a lovely bike ride to Austria and then spent the night here with two other motorhomes. Great—very quiet at night. During the day (as of mid-August 2025), you can hear construction work at the lock.✦Translating

Flat, paved parking area where nobody bothers you in the evening. During the day it is mainly used as parking for bike tours, but at night it is wonderfully quiet. Sitting by the river and watching the ships is a dream.✦Translating

Great, well-located parking area, right on the Danube Cycle Path. I had a quiet night; two others were staying here as well. Also a lovely place to watch the ships at sunset :-) A visit to Haus am Strom is definitely worthwhile too!✦Translating

Great location. You can hear the power station humming, but it didn’t bother us. The road has very little traffic at night. We had a lovely view of the Danube and the passing ships, and at the beginning of May we were completely alone here.✦Translating
