A £1 donation supports park maintenance, with walks around the 2 reservoirs, daytime toilets, a café and a ranger on site. The setting is peaceful and scenic, with abundant wildlife. Overnight parking is against the park’s bylaws, so use it for daytime visits only.

Lovely walk, with a small £1 donation. You could walk all day if you wanted to. A few motorhomes in the car park, so they are very welcome.Translating
Richard the warden says it is against their bylaws to park overnight. Member of the team was happy to lock us in the first night but overflow car park not opened Monday. Richard really doesn’t want people overnighting. Hoping to get gate unlocked today if he’s not as busy clearing up fallen trees from the storm on Sunday. It is a beautiful place but daytime only folks. Translating
