A52, PE11 4XE, Donington
Been here?
A spacious, flat lay-by separated from the A52 by trees, with views across farmers' fields and no facilities. It is usually quiet overnight, with few cars or lorries until 7.30am and heavier traffic around 8am. One lorry may pull in during the night. A bin is available but has recently been reported full or overflowing.

Good place to stop, hardly a car or lorry passing till 7.30am then starts to get busier around 8am. Had 1 lorry from 2am to 8am pull in, there is a bin but don’t leave rubbish if it’s full end & end up blowing about, as we don’t need any more of that cluttering the country side up. Farmers Fields either side & all very safe. Hope this helps as definitely a stop over point we I’d use again :)
As already stated, a lay-by separated from the main road by trees. We had a good night’s sleep for a Friday night. Bin still full! Would use again though.Translating
Simple and straightforward, flat and fairly quiet. The bin was overflowing during our Saturday night stay, so perhaps do not rely on it being emptied :)Translating
A quiet lay-by with a bin. We stayed here for a night and had no trouble. It is all very flat and nice views either side. Would recommend.
