Cars passing in the evening can be noticeable, while families can use the natural playgrounds, barbecues and fitness trail. Walking routes start nearby, and the castle is less than 10min away.

Good quiet spot to sleep, not too far from Hohenzollern Castle. Bright in the evening because of passing cars, but nice for families with children, with superb nature playgrounds.
Quiet, barbecues, children’s games, fitness trail and walking routes nearby. It is fairly level. Walkers arrive quite early in the morning; the parking area is gravel, so you can hear the cars quite a lot. Less than 10 minutes from the castle.
Several pitches in a hiking-trail car park occupied by walkers until 8 p.m. Very quiet night. Early in the morning (6:45 a.m. on a Saturday), the first walkers and their dogs arrived, but no one complained. Minus one star for cleanliness.
Really lovely gravel parking area beneath trees in the forest. It is busy during the day with walkers, but completely quiet at night.
