Excellent parking area near the ruins. Quiet at night. Cost: €5 per day. No services.

All as advertised. Pretty much next to the temples which are lit up at night. The local community goes here in the evening for music and eating. We had some music from the bars but it was all very bearable.

Probably the most reasonable parking for price and space for campers. We spent one evening and visited the historic site the following day. €5. Thanks for sharing :)

stayed 1 quiet night to visit Paestum archeology site. friendly parking attendant asked for $5 euro in the morning for parking. no facilities, but perfect for visiting Paestum!

A quiet night for €5. Good restaurant next door. Great museum and Greek temples very close by. We were the only motorhome overnight, with plenty of space. More cars and motorhomes during the day.

Quiet parking area, also suitable for overnight stays, right in front of the archaeological site… €5, no services, only a rubbish bin across the road. Certainly the most reasonable price. A pleasant bike ride takes you to nearby Agropoli, which is absolutely worth visiting. We were alone but felt very safe.

I spent two very peaceful nights, free of charge at this time of year. There is a fountain nearby on the road, although it has little flow. Very close to the museum and temples, which are amazing. Thanks for sharing.

Parked up to walk round the Greek site. It seemed very safe with other motor homes there and big enough for any size vehicle. It was free but we did not stay overnight but would have had no problems doing so. Village short walk away.

We spent a night here after visiting the museum and the archeological park. Very quiet night, safe, free of charge at this time. Recommended.

I tried to park on a Sunday and the attendant turned me away. Although he had plenty of space left, he didn’t want a motorhome because, in his words, “he wanted to make money.”

A little dirty and noisy, as there is a restaurant next door, but free and level. We arrived around 7:30 p.m. and left around 9:30 a.m. without seeing anyone.

Parking costs €5 for the night next to the site, with a restaurant next door. Farther away there is a camper park for €18. Satisfactory for one night.

Good place, 100 m from the museum. The next parking area costs €18 for a motorhome. But be careful: he wanted €10 from us and simply wrote +5 on the receipt. When I insisted, he said the motorhome was large. But €10 is the price for a bus, not a motorhome. He realized we would not let ourselves be cheated and gave the €5 back.

Excellent during the day for visiting the ruins. Unfortunately, the night was hell. Until about 11 p.m. everything looked like a peaceful, relaxing night. Suddenly the parking area filled up: lots of cars, noisy people and loud disco music next door. We fled to the railway-station parking area. It would certainly be quieter on another weekday than Saturday.

Very good location just a stone’s throw from the superb Paestum site. We were there on a Saturday evening, which brought crowds to the restaurants and some noise in the parking area, but nothing too annoying. It must be more pleasant during the week. The parking attendant, who speaks French well, asks for €5 at the entrance and requires you to leave by 10 a.m. the following day if you stay overnight.

Perfect place to visit the archaeological site and spend a quiet, safe night. The attendant arrives at 9 a.m. and leaves at 3 p.m. in the low season. Restaurants in the area. The only drawback is that people dining nearby park there and may talk a little loudly when they return.

€5 per day, guarded from 8 a.m. to midnight. The parking attendant is very kind. Non-potable water available. For us, truly excellent: for €5 you are in front of the archaeological area and can easily reach the beach and cheese dairies by bike. No length problems.
