This is a small parking area below the road, set slightly back with views of Loch and The Old Man of Storr. The surfaces are mostly flat, with WiFi and phone signal reported, and the spot is convenient for the Old Man of Storr walk. Nights are usually quiet, but traffic resumes in the morning, with some reports of noise from the main road. Moderate rain can cause flooding, and mosquitoes or midges are present.

Great spot, unfortunately it partially flooded in moderate rain so we had to move to the other end, our pass through to the cab came in handy. lots of mosquitoes around likely due to the rain / standing water.
Roadside location with a pleasant view of the Man of Storr. Quiet night, but the cars start circulating again in the morning.
Fantastic park up with the most beautiful views. Right next to the storr. Flat surfaces and full WiFi and phone signal. Set back from the road with a grass verge for extra safety and quietness.
Much better than the others along the road because it is farther back. It is still somewhat noisy, obviously, but okay. Lots of midges, as throughout the area.
Great view of the loch, the Old Man of Storr and the sheep. Space for 5 vehicles. Roadside, but a quiet night.
Excellent spot with a view of the lake and the Old Man of Storr below the road. Although close to the road, the night was very quiet. Woken fairly early by traffic from 7:30 a.m. At least 5 vans can fit.
Parking below the road; part of it floods when it rains heavily. At least 6 vans or motorhomes can fit. Great view, quite windy.
Parking slightly off the road, fairly quiet considering it's by a main road! Great view of the Old Man of Storr too!
We fit 6 vans and one car (if everyone makes the effort, obviously). Very convenient for accessing the Old Man of Storr walk. Not directly beside the road, so it is fairly quiet, and from 10 p.m. there is very little traffic. The view is superb, both of the rocks above and the sea below.
Very quiet night with a magnificent view and little passing traffic. Public toilets 2 minutes away by car.
Quiet in the night and flat for a few cars.
We slept here at the beginning of November; very little traffic, very quiet, and an exceptional view upon waking.
Stayed 28/19/25. Tour groups stopped for photos from 8:30am. Very quiet and felt safe. Has about 3 level places, and 3 places on a gradient.
Great for 3 motorhomes; the fourth space is under water when it rains. Unobstructed view of the lake and the Old Man.
Great views on Storr, level ground and good pavement
A few minutes' walk from Bridee's Veil Falls, with beautiful views of the lake and Old Man of Storr. Quiet in the evening and at night, fairly flat if you put your wheels slightly on the grass.
I got here about 3/4ish, and then by the evening there was about 4 other vans all parked in a row. Was alright, slept well but i did wake at about 6am because the van was getting battered by the wind. The layby had also started the flood. So i left and found another layby which was more sheltered from the wind
Okay spot for a backup night; the road passes just above. Around 3:30 a.m., a car honked several times... I wasn't asleep, but consider bringing earplugs, as apparently this is common according to comments about the other nearby parking areas. A 25-minute walk from the start of the Old Man of Storr hike, which I did at sunrise. Free parking.
Good for one night, it can get busy in the morning.
Stunning spot, space for 4-5 campervans. Supposedly nice views of the storr but it was misty when we were there, still have stunning views over the water. Not far from the official car park which has toilets and a waste disposal area
Very good for spending a night. Being below the road means less traffic noise. View of the Old Man of Storr. Very convenient for doing the hike early the next morning.
Place as described. Just below the road, separated by a grass verge. We were packed in very tightly, seven of us. Lots of midges, little traffic at night. Very good if you want to get to the trailhead car park early.
As described; indeed, arrive early! We arrived around 6 p.m. and there were already 3 motorhomes; after us it filled up very quickly. The view is splendid, the loch on one side and the Old Man on the other! Quiet at night; bring midge spray!!
We stayed at this small parking area after climbing the Old Man of Storr. Superb view of the loch, below the road so we were hardly disturbed. Up to 3 campervans can fit on the level section.
Very busy because it is free and set back from the road! Arrive early!
Maybe free spaces in the evening. Packed with cars during the day.
We were lucky to get a parking space in the evening and spent two nights here with five other campers.
Pretty view of the Old Man of Storr. The best for those who are not doing the hike. Therefore, several buses pass during the day, unloading their tourists. A few level spaces. Quickly fills up. Very quiet night, however.
Set back from the street to not be too bothered by cars driving past. Great view towards old man of Storr, nice view over the loch next to the bay. We were accompanied by 4 other motorhomes/vans and had a good night’s sleep.
