Been here?
A simple, well-kept campsite directly beside the sea, with level pitches and exceptional views. It costs 1800 ISK per person and has clean toilets, an outdoor washing-up sink and 6 electricity sockets. There is no hot water or campsite shower, but showers are available in the guesthouse. Toilet disposal is not available.

A wonderful place, right by the sea, with clean toilet containers and an outdoor sink. Unfortunately, there is still no hot water, but you can use the showers in the guesthouse, or simply drive 5 minutes farther along the coast, where you can use the wonderful hot tub from 9:00 a.m.Translating
Wonderful campsite, the sea view is superb. Someone comes by in the evening to collect payment (card accepted). Toilets only, and no hot water, but everything is clean.Translating
Simple campsite (only toilets and a sink, no shower) but extremely clean. Pitch on the beach with an exceptional view. For payment, do not rely on the QR code, which redirects to downloading PayPal. A very friendly lady comes in the evening and you can pay by card. Very reasonable price. A hot spring 5 minutes away by car allows you to take a shower.Translating
The site is actually still closed, but we registered via WhatsApp and paid via PayPal, and someone came to unlock it. Anyone needing electricity and hot water can use the guesthouse. The site is simple but brilliant.Translating
Beautiful location directly on the beach with picnic benches, level pitches, fairly clean sanitary facilities with sinks and toilets, no showers. An outdoor sink for washing dishes.Translating
Great place directly by the sea, including dolphin sightings. Paying via PayPal did not work; after I contacted the owner via WhatsApp, he came by and we were able to pay him by card without any problems. 1,800 ISK per person is definitely worth it for the great view! Drinking water available and the showers will soon be completed too.Translating
Right by the fjord. Electricity (6 sockets) is now also available; showers are still being built. All in all, a really great place. There are only 2 toilets, but they are very clean. We give this place 5 stars.Translating
Great inexpensive place right by the sea. We had a quiet night with the sound of the waves. Highly recommended.Translating
Open. Yes, there is no hot water and there are no showers, but the view is fantastic, it is wonderfully quiet and right by the sea. Recommended!Translating
Currently not open as of 5 May 2025. The toilet is taped off and also not open. No payment or overnight stay possible! Camping prohibited sign!Translating
Closed in April; you can sleep there but without services, with good views.Translating
One of the top 20 campsites in Iceland. It does not have 5 stars because it lacks a covered kitchen area and the light in the women's bathroom does not work. Unique sunsets on the beach and an area for viewing the northern lights without moving.Translating
A roadside parking area with toilets and cold-water points only. Some passing traffic, therefore (100 ISK via a QR code to PayPal for their use). I didn't see anyone pay. Fair enough. Recently mown by sheep, so there are a few droppings. Parking with a beautiful sea view. Road nearby, but quiet at night. Someone came by around 10 p.m. to collect payment, which I had made using the famous QR code. 3 stars for the view.Translating
