4 Carrer d'Ascó, 08038, Barcelona
Been here?
The original car park has been replaced by a building, although street parking may still be possible if a space is available. It is in a new industrial and business district, about 10 minutes’ walk from the metro and around 30 minutes by bicycle from the Gothic centre. Recent information does not confirm overnight use, while older reports described significant traffic noise at night and from early morning.

There is now a building on the site. You can still park in the streets if you are lucky enough to find a space. It is about a 10-minute walk to the metro. It is probably also safe to sleep there, but we did not do so. It is a new neighborhood, which also has a police station.
An industrial/business district, which seems to me the least risky option for avoiding theft. We stayed during the day without any problems. Thirty minutes by bicycle from the Gothic center.
Sufficient for parking during a city visit. There are enough options in the area to find a space. We then took an Uber 15 minutes to the center. We did not stay overnight. In the side street it would probably be possible, as it is a one-way street. However, the surrounding areas will probably be too noisy and unsteady.
There are better places.
It felt like a very safe area but to sleep was a nightmare. There were cars passing all night and starting around 5am the cars were nonstop. There is a good bocadillo restaurant close by that’s called “Restaurant Perantxo” that I highly recommend. Could be good for a day but beware of sleeping.
It can be an option for leaving the van without paying during a visit to Barcelona, but it is far too noisy for sleeping. You park on one side of a street where vehicles, some of them heavy, pass at high speed. I barely slept.
We had a very good night, with no noise, and felt safe during the day as well, allowing us to go and visit central Barcelona, since there is quite a lot of activity from garbage collectors, trucks and some vans. We recommend it.
They have put up signs along the streets, seems that it is no longer free to park here, we won’t stay
