Camping Calypso

The place is currently closed. It cannot be reached by phone. It was impossible to determine whether it is permanently or temporarily closed.

Seaside campsite. Very convenient pitches; there were two motorhomes, one 6.70 m and one 7.00 m. Electricity and filling/dumping included in the price. The site has a bar and a restaurant with sea views. Excellent menu and tasty pizza. The only drawback is that the facilities are somewhat dated. But I gave five stars for the helpfulness of the owner Marco, his wife Alessandra, and all the staff. There is a market and a tobacconist-bar 1 km from the campsite. Marina di Caulonia village is 2 km away on foot. Worth trying.

Shady spot. Access is under a bridge at least 4 m high, so there is plenty of room. The place is very run-down; facilities are old but clean. Hot water requires tokens. What is absolutely great is the associated restaurant, with reasonable prices and beautifully landscaped grounds. Excellent pizza. We planned to stay one night, stayed two, and ate there twice.

The campsite has recently reopened. Shaded, with direct access to the beach. Well maintained. There is also a restaurant. Cost: €28.50 per night with electricity.

Closed; it also doesn't say when they will reopen, which is a shame because it is a beautiful place. No more reviews after 2022—is it completely closed?

The campsite was rather expensive, but we were there during peak season. The toilets are clean and cleaned frequently. We were the only tourists and everyone was very friendly. The beach and sea are beautiful.
