Route d'Ussau, 09200, Montégut-en-Couserans
Been here?
This uneven cemetery parking lot is 100m from the village, with beautiful nature views and a calm setting. Overnight stays are very quiet, with no through traffic, and the church bells ring only at 8h, 12h and 18h. There is a bin and 4G/5G, but no other services, including no water or electricity. The access road is narrow but manageable carefully with a 7.50m vehicle; spaces are partly sloped and bordered by fields.

The road up to Montegut is narrow… with a few converted garages. The site itself is very quiet, given the neighbors. More or less level, with shade in the morning, on the edge of fields.Translating
Beautiful place with opportunities for walks nearby. Very quiet. Single-track road with some bends; be careful if you are driving a long vehicle. The pitches are not level.Translating

Remote, peaceful and beautiful. An exciting drive to get there but very rewarding. We tucked ourselves in the corner and had a lovely night. The walking in the hills around here is wonderful.
Very large car park, completely surrounded by beautiful hills. One part is level and the other slightly sloped. We spent one night in complete peace and silence. The road to get there is narrow, but we had no problems with the van.Translating
