Lay-by parking, takeaway noise

This large lay-by is set back from the road and has room for a few vans or motorhomes, with some road noise. A takeaway van often parks here on Friday and Saturday evenings until 11pm. There are no facilities, but Bungay is a short walk away, with a chippy 5mins away, a kebab shop 7mins away and several shops. The Skyway Chinese takeaway and a Premier are about a 5 minute drive away.

takeaway van often parks here Friday and Saturday evenings until 11pm. bin in this layby. can stop in layby opposite as well. short walk into bungay there is a chippy 5mins away and kebab shop 7mins. few shops in the town as well as few church's to walk round. Castle ruins as well. coop store not far away as well with petrol station.
Stayed 2 nights. A bit of noise from the road and it was a weekend so a lot of coming and going from the Golden Pizza van. But Bungay is nice. Good reception on 3 mobile.
Quiet, nice place to stop and walk into Earsham. Unfortunately a lot of people have just used it as a toilet layby so bushes are a bit messy.
nice quiet lay-by there is another opposite. there is a chip shop in Bungay town a 10 min walk away. a few charity shops and a post office inside a shop opposite Bungay church. visit the castle ruins as well for a small charge with a very nice little cafe. if you have time go visit earsham church where you can park a 7 metre van for day time to have a look around the church.
