Been here?
4x4 access only
Getting here needs an off-road vehicle. Check your ground clearance before setting off.
A remote off-road spot with several possible spaces, beautiful views over green hills and mountains, and very quiet nights in nature. The first spaces are easier to reach, while the more distant ones require a suitable vehicle or greater driving skill. Access from the Audon path is extremely narrow and rocky, so the route from the Chauzon road is preferred; 4x4 access is strongly recommended. Do not continue beyond the water reservoir with an ordinary motorhome, and fires are prohibited.

A 4x4 is strongly recommended, although the presence of a car and a van makes us think it is passable. Indeed, there is heavy use by app users, but that is also a good sign.
The poor rating is mainly a warning. The GPS guided us to this point via the road from Audon; do not follow this route, as it is extremely narrow and rocky (4x4 only). Be careful. I could not test it, but it seems the correct access is via the road from Chauzon.
Trap: for an ordinary motorhome, do not venture beyond the water tank, because it is impossible to turn around. Result: scratches on both sides, and you need good ground clearance. A 4x4 is preferable. Otherwise, it is very beautiful and peaceful.
Even more beautiful than in the photos! We spent a quiet night at this lovely spot, waking to an unobstructed view of lush nature with mountains in the background. Our small dog also loved walking off-leash; the little path is easily accessible with a large motorhome.
Excellent site, quiet and well away from main roads, with many possible pitches so nobody disturbs anyone else. Access to the first pitches is easy; the more remote pitches require greater skill or a more suitable vehicle.
Do not take this rocky road with a larger vehicle and without a 4x4 under any circumstances.
Quiet place away from the road. Very pleasant starting point for a walk to Balazuc. Space for several vans. Good 4G connection.
Very nice place, very clean and very quiet! Large enough to be peaceful! Note that fires are forbidden!
Very nice place. Rocky and narrow road. Watch out for branches on the side. Quiet, with sunsets and starry nights.
Very beautiful place, but a little rough, and you should not be afraid of scratches… otherwise, a superb spot.
Great place, extremely quiet, with lots of room for vans and motorhomes so everyone has their own space. The view is magnificent, and we slept very, very well! I recommend it; this place is worth the detour.
Very nice, beautiful view in the middle of nature. Be careful to take the correct side of the road; we took the wrong side and had to turn around. The correct side goes via the Bala parking area. Magnificent and very quiet.
Very beautiful spot. Peaceful. The area is clean, so please leave it that way. The access road is a little rocky at the end. But we were in a 4x4.
The end of the road is quite difficult and very uneven. Go slowly, otherwise you will scrape the underside of the truck. The road is also rather narrow, so beware of scratches from bushes and brambles. Suitable for small trucks or vans. Otherwise, a nice, spacious spot with lots of room but very little shade.
Superb view; steep road to access the far end. It is possible to stop at the water reservoir.
Very quiet at the end of July, with a few people camped farther up the road, but there are many pitches, so it is easy to find a place alone. Easy to access and very pretty.
Very good! Lots of space and fairly clean, ideal with a dog! The only drawback is that there is no shade.
Quiet, accessible by van without problems. Many spaces (eight vans were already present!) on a large area with 360-degree views. Very, very, very clean; hopefully it can stay that way.
