Been here?
A small lake offers mostly wild camping with a few places to stay, a nearby restaurant or cafe, and generally little crowding. Summer brings many mosquitoes and bugs, while the area can be messy but has a pleasant morning view. Nights are usually quiet, with few cars and sounds of nature, although birds are plentiful around the lake and woods.

Very smelly seaweed from the beach but great views. Lots of birds to watch feeding on the beach and in the water. No one else around! Quite a long drive out to this spot but worth it for the views (maybe not for the smell).
Beautiful beach, currently full of foul-smelling algae and a lot of rubbish. We drove on after the wonderful sunset.
