This is a free parking area with angled spaces, trees for shade and a slight hill, generally quiet overnight. Parking is free from 7pm-9am and on weekends, with occasional traffic and airplane noise. A swimming pool for showers is 2 min away, a launderette is 10 min away, and an Auchan supermarket is nearby.

Easy to park, free 7pm-9am and weekends, right next to an Auchan supermarket with a little cafe and slow but free wifi you park close or sit nearby. Same shopping area has a maintained public toilet though that area is locked at night. Felt safe, lots of street light. Be ready for airplane sounds late into the night and early in the morning.
I spent a peaceful night here. Not many cars passed during the night, and I felt safe in my van-car. Really great.
Stayed here for three hours and went to see Lisbon by bike. Payment is by coins only; there is a small shop nearby.
that was an easy experience. it's quite, safe and close to the market, which means fresh breakfast ;). I needed it just for a night, and it was tip-top.
On the national holiday, it was easy and free to park and take a pleasant walk to El Corte Inglés.
I parked on the night of 25/02/23 a little farther up on the right, where it is level, occupying two spaces (otherwise the rear of the motorhome sticks out too far). It is free on weekends, and on foot it is an hour from the Arco da Rua Augusta, although Plaza de España is a 12-minute walk away and has buses. It stayed there all day and nothing happened to the van.
