A green campsite directly beside the Elbe, where unreserved pitches can be chosen freely, including places on the outer dike. The site offers disposal and sanitary facilities, but pitches by the river have only a toilet hut; showers and the main facilities are across the dike, about 2 minutes away. An orchard area is quieter and shaded by trees, while the riverside pitches can become muddy. Recent stays cost 60€ for a camper and two people, and early arrival before 15 costs a 50% surcharge.

Very nice place, beautifully located on the Elbe. There is also the option of staying in the orchard, where it is quieter and beautifully green with wonderful trees. We found €79 for two people with a car and rooftop tent for two nights very expensive, hence only four out of five stars.
Very nicely located. You can stay not on the main site but directly beside the Elbe. Reservations are not possible there, and there is only a toilet hut. The sanitary facilities, reception, and everything else are over the dyke, about a two-minute walk away. Generally not the most modern or cleanest standard, but acceptable. The view makes up for it.
Really nice to be able to stay in front of the dyke without pitches. Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities are outdated. The men’s showers had very stale air. The skylights were dirty and full of cobwebs, apparently not opened or cleaned for a long time. There was black mold in the tile joints. Overall, it made a shabby impression. The operators were arrogant and strange. Not recommended!
Site directly on the Elbe and on the cycle path to Hamburg. Toilet container on site; showers and washroom over the dyke. Showers require tokens. Everything clean, free choice of pitch. Good value for the proximity to Hamburg.
The site was okay, but very expensive for what is offered. It is annoying that rubbish can only be taken away at certain times. No washhouse at the pitches by the dyke. Showers require coins. We will not return.
For one night, €30 without electricity is a steep price. In return, you get an arrogant operator, check-in not before 3 p.m., a muddy grass pitch where more and more campers are sent, rubbish disposal only at fixed times through a closed roller door, and dirty showers. Even the dog costs €4, for which you get nothing else. First and last time!
Our relaxing family weekend ended on Saturday night at 10 p.m. because the operators decided to let new guests onto the site.
Wonderful campsite directly on the Elbe, if you want that. We were there for only one night, but it was wonderful.
Nice site without pitches directly on the Elbe, or in the orchard behind reception. The operators are very nice. At €26 per night for one person in a rooftop tent, it is not exactly cheap, but the location is fantastic.
A great site on the Elbe. Very well maintained, with plenty on offer: beach bar, children's entertainment, sauna, and more. We will come back.
Perfect location, not overcrowded, absolutely uncomplicated, and really beautiful!
We loved the river view & spectacular sunsets. Very friendly and helpful staff. We also rented their apartment for our parents to have a holiday together at the same place. The accommodation was lovely and well equipped. Only slight negative for us was the cost of the showers (1,50 euros) and the restricted opening times of the bin shed. Overall we loved it here and hope to be back one day.
Nice site on the Elbe. The campsite is divided by the dyke. No marked pitches. If you want to stay by the water, there is only a toilet trailer there. For showers and other toilets, you have to cross the dyke to the main site. Bread roll service available. Sanitary facilities in the main building are clean. It was pleasantly quiet in the early season. Friendly staff. Motorhome, two people, dog, and electricity: €39. Showers cost extra.

A great site directly on the Elbe, if you are lucky. Thanks to the Elbe cycle path, there are excellent restaurants and cafés nearby, as well as a supermarket. Friendly reception, clean and modern sanitary building, bread rolls can be ordered, and a mini shop at reception with a few regional products. We will definitely come back.
A nice site with views of the Elbe. We had a fantastic sunset. The mini-market has everything you need. The toilets are far away when there is a risk of flooding, so bring a bicycle. Service was excellent and friendly. The site is clean and well maintained. Buy shower tokens at the same time. We will return :-)
