Been here?
Motorhome parking for 25 vehicles on asphalt plots. €10 per 24 hours via parking meter. Drain, 2 toilets and sink; water €2 per 100 litres. Garbage with recycling and mountain views. Village shops, bakery and general store 5 minutes walk away. Quiet, clean facilities though aging.

Very convenient for discharging, emptying the toilet and filling up with water for €2. Basic but functional and clean sanitary facilities.
A quiet place, but outdated sanitary facilities that deserved a major renovation considering the €10 price.
The coin-operated fresh-water machine seems to be defective. It does not accept €2 coins.
A great overnight had here. Quiet, peaceful, with a nice view. €10 playable at machine, extra for water. Toilets, waste disposal, black and grey water in designated areas. The locals are also very welcoming. Village only minutes by foot. Patisserie, Boulanger, general store, and some lovely bar/cafes. Thank you to the local municipality for providing this simple but great site.
Second visit to this area, still just as welcoming. Tranquility +++
As on our first visit in 2017: quiet, clean area with marked pitches. Services not used except for the rubbish bins.
The place is very beautiful and level, quiet, with mountains all around. It is the third time we have been here, but I do not know if we will return. We found €10 a little expensive, with no water or electricity, just parking. We also wonder whether we are the only fools who pay.
We stayed for two nights; it is very pleasant and quiet. Water only works with €2 coins. The village is 5 minutes away and has a bakery and a Spar with locally sourced butcher products.
Quiet, functional toilets, disposal area. Shops nearby. Perfect before going up to the Plateau de Beille. €10 for 24 hours.
I was there on 22 December 2025 for one night, perfect parking area, two toilets but unfortunately no showers. Everything clean and well maintained. Paying €10/24 hours is fine. Thanks to the municipality.
Very good place to spend one night. Very quiet. €10/24h. There are toilets, facilities for emptying wastewater, and a parking meter for payment.
Quiet and pleasant place to spend the night. Thanks to the municipality for this initiative.
10 euros to sleep in a parking lot. At least the ground is flat and it feels safe and quiet. Costs an additional €2 to fill up 100L water. The machine only gave us 5L before turning off. Something to bear in mind as the only reason we stayed was to get water.
Beautiful, quiet place with basic toilets and a shower. We did not use them, though. Grey-water disposal, fresh water and rubbish disposal available. Restaurant and small Spar market within walking distance. Also suitable for larger motorhomes. Thanks to the municipality.
An absolutely quiet overnight stop in the middle of the small village. Toilets simple but clean. Shops and restaurants nearby. Thanks to the municipality.
Very good place, clean, quiet, full services except electricity. Black water is in a separate building where there is a sink and showers. Great! Thanks to the municipality for this place. €10 and €2 for 100 liters of water—reasonable in my opinion.
Quiet area not far from the village. The night will cost you €10 and €2 if you want water. There are also toilets and everything needed to empty the cassette and grey water. Thanks to the municipality of Les Cabannes for all these amenities.
Pitches on hard, flat ground, perfect for 7.5-meter motorhomes. Quiet, and next to the gendarmerie.
A very pleasant spot with all services except electricity, next to the village where there are two convenience stores and restaurants, one of which serves only local products.
Charging €10 for parking, the water could be free. I put in euro coins and it did not accept them, but when I put in a 20-cent coin, water started flowing.
I put in two euros but did not get any water. I left a message on the town hall's answering machine. Otherwise, the area seems very good.
Very pleasant area with a convenience store next door—wonderful. Too bad a van arrived after midnight and disturbed our sleep by parking in front of us (which is not actually a space), even though spaces remained, and talked and laughed without respecting the peace and quiet of motorhome travelers.
The interior area is fairly level, with wastewater emptying and water filling for €2. The mountain views are beautiful. We spent a very peaceful night. Thanks, Les Cabannes.
Very quiet place with spacious pitches. At 350 meters on foot, you have the village center with local shops for supplies. €10 per night is very affordable.
Excellent for an overnight stay. Quiet and on a flat surface. €10 to sleep and discharge, credit cards accepted. Water filling costs an additional €2.
Pleasant night at an area that was little used on the eve of August 15. Disappointed, however, not to have received the 100 liters of water for €2 as advertised on the machine.
AUGUST 2025 Quiet place to spend the night for €10, with grey- and black-water disposal (the latter inside the toilet building). No electricity, and drinking-water filling is limited to 100 liters at a cost of €2.
Excellent place with water, two toilets and a decent sink. Rubbish and recycling available. Pleasant, shaded pitch. Minor drawback: the parking meter does not work with cards, so bring coins!
Simple but nice place. I only stopped for water, but the coin machine took my money without releasing the water. It was my last coin during a weekend, so I was subsequently in trouble at other spots trying to fill my water tank. So no thanks for this service, which made me lose money. At least I was able to empty the grey water; that was something. The coin machine needs to be fixed.
€10 is fair for the site. Great location and good access. Excellent space for each motorhome. Suggestion: install a longer hose to make filling with drinking water easier.
The area is very good and the village is very beautiful. But it is very expensive: €10 and there are no services included. There is no electricity and refilling water costs €2. There is one toilet and black-water disposal.
Clean and quiet parking area. We stayed there for one night. 10 euros for the pitch and €2 for water.
Great pitch near the Plateau de Beille; we spent a quiet night there. Rate: €10 for 24 hours.
I don't understand the concept of this area: heated toilets and streetlights throughout, "but there are no electricity hookups"! You pay €10 for parking and €2 for water, which is expensive per cubic metre. You therefore need to be 200% self-sufficient for your batteries, otherwise you risk freezing in winter. With parking prohibited in the village, they could provide all services for €14 or €15.
We spent two very peaceful nights here. All services are nearby. No electricity, so be self-sufficient for heating. We took the shuttle to the SNCF railway station for the Plateau de Beille.
