Seaside parking, overnight ban

Quite. Great view of beach and sea. However there is a sign that says no overnight stay.

Sorry, but the German comment is telling the truth... camping and caravanning are prohibited. Recent sign. The other parking areas are the same. No spots in PortLogan.

We were there. There is a sign saying that it is only a picnic area. There are portable toilets.

Superb carpark with view of sea. Toilets, but no fresh water. limited internet/phone coverage. Definitely stay again, no need to attempt the other carparks in village that are closer to the houses.

Spent a few hours here walking dog and meeting locals. Awesome place!

There are no signs prohibiting overnight parking. my comment regarding staying here has been deleted because i said 6 vehicles were here overnight. this needs to be replaced by an overnight permitted parking place.

A lovely park up. Great views. Toilet cleaned every day by council workers. A bin for rubbish. No chemical disposal and no water. NO sign saying you cant park overnight, 3 vans stayed overnight with us. A local told us there were temporary "no overnighting" signs up all over Dumfries and Galloway in April and May but they we're taken away at the end of May. September 2021.
