Practical parking, quiet nights

Motorhome area with potential, but it needs more maintenance. We thank the municipal council for providing water and a service point, although there is only one for all operations. The lack of shade makes staying uncomfortable on hot days. Next to the football field and road, it is quite exposed and not very welcoming for overnight stays.

A good place to rest, very close to the town center, next to the Guardia Republicana and the Pingo Doce supermarket. Free emptying and water. The parking area is level, although the spaces are not marked for motorhomes. We parked without problems and had a quiet night.

Free area with dumping and water-supply facilities, with only one parking space, which is not much, but better than nothing. Thanks to the municipality for making the space available.

All the facilities work, safe reasonably quiet especially at night. A handy little supermarket across the road. As with most of these serviced parking spots, not that picturesque. With high winds, be glad of the protective wall.

Fantastic spot. Sure, you're on a road, in a town. Cars go by. Nevertheless, an almost flat parking area. One of those "mushrooms" as a service station and Pingo Doce Supermarket just across the road. And on a rainy day in January, even the sun shows itself.

Well located, quiet and with all services. We spent a peaceful night, with no other motorhomes.

Beautiful place with all facilities. Too bad about the neighbors’ barking dogs, which they do absolutely nothing to stop.

Quiet and clean. Close to supermarkets and restaurants. I highly recommend the Ponte Romana restaurant. Pleasant walks along the river.

Paved area, slightly sloping, with water and dumping services for gray water and cassette toilets. Close to the town center and its shops, a 10-minute walk away. Pingo Doce is 100 meters away. Worth visiting: a pretty Roman bridge with its garden, a 5-minute walk away. The castle is a 15-minute walk away, uphill! We spent a very quiet night there with two other motorhomes. Thanks to the municipality for this very practical service for traveling the EN2.

We made a detour to this motorhome service area just to stop for a few minutes for a snack and a short rest from the journey. The area has the essentials, with absolutely unappealing views! I think the municipality could have built this facility in a more attractive location.

Okay for one night as a stopover. The town isn't very attractive, but we slept well. There is a tasty, inexpensive bistro at the supermarket, 3 minutes from the site.

We spent two very peaceful nights. Good spot and not too far from the town center. We always walked to visit it. Pingo Doce is right next door and several restaurants are a 3-minute walk away. Good park.

Good parking for an overnight stop. Trucks also park close by so expect an early morning start! All services. If you’re on the N2 route, the tourist kiosk for stamping is very close by the river - very helpful lady.

Thanks to the municipality for providing this free facility. The only minor drawback is that filling the fresh-water tank is slow.

A service point with only a trickle of water; gray- and black-water dumping is possible. To fill the fresh-water tank, allow a lot of time—really a lot.

This parking area is intended for motorhomes and has the essential services. There were three motorhomes here overnight, and the night was peaceful despite very heavy rain. It isn't completely flat throughout. Very good 4G reception. The road is not very busy at night.

Fine for the services and refilling, with the supermarket right next door. For parking, I recommend the lot on the other side of the river, with a view of the old bridge!

It is possible to empty the cassette. Very quiet place, easy to walk into the center, but no view. I recommend it only for overnight stays; there are many more interesting places in the town.
