This parking area beside a recreation area is suitable for overnight stays and is usually quiet. The lake has swimming platforms and diving boards, while a running track, outdoor gym and public transport are nearby. Parking is paid between 7 and 22, at about 10sek per hour, using EasyPark. Stockholm is reachable by 10km of hilly cycling, or by a 10-minute walk and 20-minute metro ride; weekends can be busy.

Perfect for visiting Stockholm! 10 km by bike, with hills, or a 10-minute walk plus 20 minutes by metro to reach the city center. We stayed for three nights; it was very quiet. We recommend it! Easy payment with EasyPark!
Good place to spend the night. Quiet, with several campers for company. Paid parking between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m., about 10 SEK per hour. Swimming in the lake and playing in the nearby park. There are also public toilets, but they were closed in the evening.
Very good for spending the night before taking the ferry to Finland early in the morning. Very quiet; we slept well.
Ideal location for visiting Stockholm. Quiet and not very busy, but avoid weekends, when it is packed with families going to the park. Pedestrian route of less than 15 minutes to the station; no ticket needed, and direct card payment is possible.
Close to a pleasant beach. We arrived around 6 p.m. on a Saturday, and there was still some activity, but during the night there were only four motorhomes. A quiet night, but since it provides access to the beach, I think it is very busy during the summer, so it is better to arrive later and leave early.
Spot located on the outskirts but easily accessible. We arrived at 7 p.m. and left at 8:30 a.m.; a €4 fee is payable via the app available on the signs. At 9 p.m. only four motorhomes remained.
We spent two different nights here when we passed Stockholm. On the second night, many cars were parked late in the evening, but the nights were pleasantly quiet, mostly filled with nature sounds. The other night, a police car drove around the lot but didn't really pay attention. Also, the beach was super nice. Definitely will come here again.
Beautiful place outside Stockholm, 10 km by e-bike, no problem. Sanitary facilities clean but outdated, friendly staff. Definitely eat at the Thai restaurant by the entrance!
A great option for spending one cheap and quiet night in the camper. Access to the beach. Not far from Stockholm city center.
We stayed here on May 28; parking was still free then, but became paid from June 1. Perfect spot for sightseeing in Stockholm, about a 10-minute walk to the train.
Great place, quiet night, wonderful view right next to it. The swimming area at the lake was busy. The water was clear and pleasantly cool. From June 1 to August 31, the car park costs about €1 per hour during the day. Works very well with EasyPark.
Perfect free spot. In 10 minutes you are at the metro, and you can pay by card. The red line takes you to Gamla Stan, the old town. You can enjoy a beautiful walk in the park by the car park. Walk up the hill via the stairs for a wonderful view. We even saw a deer there. On May 20, new parking spaces were being created at 6:30 a.m. That was less pleasant.
No services, but perfect location to visit Stockholm. We spent the night there and the next morning, we walked 10 min to the closest metro station to visit the city.
Feels safe, close to the metro Bredäng, almost always another camper here, super cozy walkpaths along the water. Love this spot! There is an open barrier on the way in which looks suspicious, but it stays open during nights too, maybe they use it during winter.
Very well located for visiting Stockholm; the metro is 10 minutes away. Quiet night with a few motorhomes. We left ours there all day to visit the city. No problem. But it is just a car park.
There is no longer any construction. We are here with two other motorhomes and there are cars too, so there is no problem parking. We stayed two nights to visit the capital by metro and had no problems. I have never slept so well in a capital city; no noise at all!
The car park is currently half a construction site, and it was unclear whether parking was allowed. We did not feel comfortable and instead went to Farsta, a car park next to a sports facility with excellent connections to the city center.
The site is currently being used by the city of Stockholm as a snow-dumping area. Therefore, it cannot be used and is closed off.
Very convenient for taking the metro to Stockholm: the station is a 10-minute walk away (€180 day ticket). Quiet night and a beautiful walk by the lake.
Free car park for a great trip into the city. The metro is a 10-minute walk away and took us directly to Gamla Stan. However, we did not spend the night there. We had forgotten to close the motorhome garage. It was open, but everything was still there when we returned. :-) We were there with a 7.5-meter camper.
Large free car park, with good connections to the city center by both train and bicycle. About 200 meters downhill is a beautiful beach, playground, and outdoor fitness area. We felt safe and comfortable there and stayed two nights.
We used the car park as a base to take Line 13 into the city center. A 10-minute walk to Bredäng station. The burned-out caravan is still here, but I was not worried because the car park is heavily used by locals. We did not spend the night because we had to continue driving, but we would have.
We stayed here for two nights, August 10 and 11. We cycled to Stockholm. Overnight stays are allowed. You can enjoy a beautiful sunset on the rocks above the site. Unfortunately, we also saw someone simply dumping grey water; that is unacceptable!!! Please behave responsibly so that places like this remain available.
Secluded place. We saw what appeared to be a motorhome that had burned down some time ago. We did not spend the night there; it did not look trustworthy.
Convenient metro access to city centre - only 10 min walk to station. Very busy site but was quiet overnight. Sanitary building a bit dated but clean. Good option if you want to access the city but don’t want disturbed at night. Recommend to book so you get allocated space.
Large free car park, 12 minutes on foot from Bredäng metro station. You can buy a metro, bus, or pass ticket on the SL app. We spent Saturday night there and it was very quiet.
The place is a 12-minute walk from the metro. You can go directly to the lake or use the hiking trails. BUT it is incredibly loud. Residents of the neighborhood behind it come and go, drive across the car park, play loud music, or meet up. From 7 a.m. the first cars arrive for walking, jogging, and so on. There was always something going on.
We stayed here for one night. Was a perfect spot for visiting Stockholm:)
Large car park not far from central Stockholm. Convenient for one night. Fairly quiet. Free, with many campers. Recommended.
A great starting point for visiting Stockholm. So close to the city and free. We also had a good night there. One can only hope that campers continue to be tolerated.
Convenient car park for spending one night before visiting Stockholm, but very busy. The locals did not seem particularly happy to see so many motorhomes, vans, and campers. Quite noisy. The lake just below is very pleasant, however!
Campsite very well located for visiting Stockholm. Negative point: the showers have nowhere to put your clothes or toiletries; it is just a shower.
Good for an overnight stay before visiting Stockholm. You can barbecue by the lake and use the toilet. We did not see any showers.
Excellent parking for a dip in the lake or an overnight stay. please please take your rubbish away. This morning there were many bags of rubbish dumped next to the bins in the parking. If we want to continue to be allowed to use these spaces overnight we must show respect.
Free car park, somewhat full of motorhomes. Very convenient for going to Stockholm. Quiet and relatively clean. When the weather is nice, a little evening picnic with the sunset is quite pleasant. We stayed three nights and it was perfect.
beautiful swimming water down the hill, 20 min drive to central Stockholm. nice view point.
Free car park, dirt surface, relatively level, but very well located for visiting Stockholm and taking day trips. Metro 10 minutes on foot, then 15 minutes to the old town.
