A wild hillside spot with a few mostly level bays and wide views in every direction. The gravel access road is bumpy but manageable, and recent reports describe quiet nights, beautiful sunsets and a view toward the monastery. There are no services, although 4G from Vodafone is available; cows may pass occasionally, and a restaurant is reported at the parking area.

An absolute highlight, especially on hot days it is pleasantly cool, quiet and clean up here.
Perfect for a cool night, with the monastery’s evening and morning bells, a perfect view and a beautiful sunset.
I stayed here for one night. Everyone is very friendly. You also felt very safe at night. Easy to reach with normal vehicles too. The night was very quiet, with a beautiful starry sky. The highlight for me was the sunset, which was gorgeous. I can recommend it to everyone.

Very beautiful place with a 360° view! We stayed here for two nights and it was wonderfully peaceful. From here you have a beautiful sunset over the mountains. The gravel road up is easy enough with a campervan.
Very beautiful place with a panoramic view that you do not often get to see. Unfortunately, some visitors here did not appreciate this beautiful moment in nature and left rubbish behind. If everyone collected one bag of rubbish, it would stay beautiful. You can set off hiking in the morning. At 1,600 metres, it is a wonderful feeling of freedom and nature. Highly recommended.

A great place. The road up is somewhat difficult, but in dry weather it is easily manageable. Cars also come up during the day for a brief mountain view.
Magnificent view, beautiful walks, friendly stray dogs, the road can be heard but is not disturbing, intermittent 4G signal, peaceful night.
An evening outside without unpacking anything, as the furniture is already there. Quiet at night, with the bells silent from 9 p.m. to 8 a.m. Parking diagonally, maximum 6.5 m. Excellent bakery at the top of the stairs. GPS address in the first comment. Less disturbed by morning traffic if you park right at the bottom.
