Peaceful night, a drinking fountain, tables, and a playground. We found two campers.
Excellent spot at the foot of the beautiful Torrechiara Castle. We slept for one night; there were other campers. There is a drinking fountain with various connections, tables, and a playground. There are also toilets 20 meters away, but we did not use them.
Had a very quiet and peaceful night. Thanks for posting this place.
We stayed here for one night. No problem with a camper over 7 meters. The night was quiet.
Spent the night peacefully, level parking, fountain nearby—perfect.
Great Parking right next to the castle and beautiful area. The toilets are well managed and there are park benches. Highly recommend visiting the castle and their local tavern is cosy.
Parking at the foot of the climb to the castle, with two areas, one dedicated to motorhomes. Drinking fountain available. Sloped, so leveling blocks are needed. The climb to the castle takes 10 minutes via a trail or the paved road. A restaurant, bar, and dance hall are nearby. Quiet night despite a few patrons returning to collect their cars. Sign says 3.5-meter height limit, but that is not true.
Very quiet spot on the outskirts of a small village. Flat ground with grassed-over paving stones, so you avoid mud in rainy weather. Several spaces, even for large vehicles. Permanent shelters with benches. Children’s playground, green surroundings. Toilets 50 meters away, open from 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., cleaned in the morning. Hiking trail starts here. At the foot of the castle (€5, interesting visit). Water fountain.
Free, open, and suitable for vehicles over 7 meters as well.
Fine for one night, but slightly sloped. The pizzeria takeaway serves very tasty pizzas!
Visited the castle and slept well. Quiet and shaded place, no time restrictions; the parking area is always open.
Very quiet place; we spent two nights here, Friday and Saturday. No disruptive noise despite it being the weekend. There is a fountain where we could refill our van, and public toilets 100 meters away, open from 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Do not forget to visit the castle for €5 and enjoy all the trails. A lovely restful stop before continuing the journey.
We had a very pleasant and quiet night here. Next to the parking area is a small stream gently trickling along. The castle is very pretty and well maintained. In the evenings, people occasionally came by and spoke quietly without disturbing us. There are surveillance cameras at the parking area. We felt safe. There are also covered benches.
Excellent parking spot; we felt very safe. Wine was also available for purchase directly at the filling point. Toilets nearby and clean. However, signs warn of theft.
Quiet and spacious parking area close to the castle. A square with places to eat is also nearby. No services, but there is a water tap.
We were here on a Saturday evening at the end of September. The parking area was empty, with no mosquitoes and absolute peace. Water available. Hikers arrived in the morning. At this time of year, it is ideal for overnighting.
Parking near the castle, next to the playground. Quiet. A fountain is available. Recommended!
