15 Nucleo di Freggina, 52011, Bibbiena
Been here?
This free rest area has 3 flat gravel pitches without shade, in a tranquil natural setting near Freggina and the Casentinesi Forests. It provides electricity, water, tables, barbecues, a pizza oven, separate waste collection, and bicycle facilities, but no gray- or black-water discharge. Access involves a steep, narrow climb, although a 7m van has managed it. Shops and restaurants are about 2 km away in Partina.

The most beautiful, tranquil spot I can’t believe it’s free! We were the only ones there in June and it was so lovely. The road to get there is very steep and the entrance quite narrow, but we managed in a 7m van. Can highly recommend, also bring some fire wood as there is a pizza oven you can use!
Wonderful place immersed in nature, near Partina and the entrance to the Casentino Forests National Park. Three large pitches for motorhomes/vans, running water, barbecue, pizza/bread oven, picnic tables and bicycle parking. Electricity is also available. Enchanting and completely free stopover. The only drawback: the streetlights remain on all night.
Very nice campsite, everything you need is there! Above all, peace and quiet.
Perfect and wonderful, except for a dog barking constantly not far away... but we will definitely return. THANK YOU to the municipal administration.
Beautiful and very well maintained.
Great campsite. Very well maintained. With barbecue area and pizza oven. Benches and tables. Charging station for e-bikes. Electricity included. Water free. No waste disposal. We felt comfortable and safe. A few dogs bark from time to time. Many thanks to the municipality.
I confirm the previous review. Thanks to the municipality.
Beautiful, very well-maintained stopover area. Excellent starting point for the trail leading to Camaldoli.
Very good place! From the outside it looks like a football field. Three campers can stay here; drinking water and hose water, tables and benches are available. Locals also use the place for evening gatherings and take loving care of it. Do not take the white gravel road on the right before the fountain; turning around is very tricky.
I completely agree with the previous visitors. It is wonderful that the local people arranged this. Compliments. Do take occasional barking dogs into account.
Great place for a small camper or bus. If the overhang is longer than 7 metres, do not visit this place: the entrance is too steep and narrow. If you have a bus or campervan up to 6.5 metres, you can have a wonderful stay.
