Paid riverside parking, noisy nights

Perfect for parking during the day, but impossible to sleep there. Far too noisy.

Passenger-car parking lot in a superb location. Directly beside the very attractive riverside promenade with a sculpture park and mini gardens representing partner cities. No prohibition against motorhomes. I was alone here in June. Motorhomes up to about 7 metres can fit, although they restrict the neighbouring vehicles. Around 8 spaces are possible when mixed with cars. The 24-hour fee is €6. Traffic noise is only a problem for sensitive ears.

Paid parking daily from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (free from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m.). €0.50 per 30 minutes, €6 for 24 hours. No prohibition signs for motorhomes. However, the parking spaces are mainly suitable for smaller vehicles, with some areas accommodating vehicles up to about 6 metres. Ideal for visiting the town.

The parking lot is perfectly fine. The train traffic did not bother us. We stayed overnight from Saturday to Sunday; there was somewhat noisy pedestrian traffic, perhaps because there is a club or something similar nearby. But it was tolerable. The parking fee is now €6.

Very noisy motorhome site, but only a short walk to the old town. We stayed just one night. All the spaces are slightly sloped, so we were not really level during the night. Fine for one night. We were able to pay here using EasyPark. The site was free at night.

The pizza and view of the Rhine are okay. But I say: do not come. Look elsewhere, because it is a really noisy place.

Very centrally located parking lot; both the city centre and the Rhine promenade are just a few steps away on foot. The only disadvantage is the proximity to the railway line. A train rushes past every 5 to 10 minutes. It is okay for one night, preferably with good earplugs.

Excellent parking lot for one or two nights. It really is only a few steps to the Rhine promenade, where you can still sit pleasantly in the evening with two camping chairs. Direct view of Rüdesheim and the Mäuseturm. We were able to park our 7-metre motorhome with a bicycle rack on the tow hitch easily for €4 per 24 hours. Excellent for bike tours and visiting Rüdesheim and Bingen.

I stayed there from Sunday to Monday. There are nicer places, but it is more than fine for one night. It costs €4 per 24 hours. I cannot confirm the train noise.

Great parking lot for exploring the town and castle. Very many trains—freight and passenger.

The location was good, with a large parking lot and trees, but the freight train practically drove through the motorhome. Even with earplugs it was still too loud, and everything vibrated like an earthquake. We got no sleep! If it had not been so late, we would have driven on.
