Been here?
Large parking area beside the E39, with toilets, warm water, rubbish bins, benches and walking paths. Free black-water disposal is available, but the rinse tap has been reported broken and grey-water disposal is unclear. The road is noisy during the day, while some recent stays were quiet at night. The site is spacious, with more natural spots towards the back.

a lot of space! some spots more nature-y in the back. trashcans and bathrooms, including a wheelchair accessible one. they also have warm water. right next to a street so kind of loud during the day, but fine at night. theres also some benches and a path to go on a walk/hike.
Large car park with clean toilets and service facilities.
We emptied the black water, but the rinsing tap does not work. We could not find a place for the grey water.
Great parking area for the night! Very clean toilets, with grey- and black-water disposal available. The place is very quiet when there are no high-school graduates around—perhaps simply avoid it in May and June :) We stayed here with about ten other campers.
Lots of lorries and motorhomes, but there is a toilet and nice tables with benches.
Basically a good place to spend the night, were it not for the student graduation celebrations already described. In our case, they started at 3 a.m. with several buses and bass so powerful that it even shook our motorhome, despite there being enough distance. After an hour, they left the car park again. According to Google, these celebrations are over in June.
I can only agree with the last comments; it is impossible to sleep with this noise and the disco bus at 3 a.m.
We read the last feedback but still decided to stay as the place was so idyllic and a great location to walk he dog - and a Tuesday night, so we thought we would be ok. at 3am loud “music/noise” blurted out. There were several busses and many drunk, loud people and we also got very frightened - the music was just loud noise… Some kind of “dark goth” party… We decided to pack and go right away.
At 1:00 a.m., a van or something similar arrived with really, really loud subwoofers and music, which scared us. It was full of teenagers; they parked 300 metres from us and continued listening to loud techno bass music and screaming—they were drunk—for about half an hour. Then the police arrived in a hurry, someone having called them, and escorted them away. I do not recommend it :(
Great pitch for one night. The road is busy, but it did not bother us at all; it was not very noisy at that time. The toilets are good, and we were also able to dispose of grey water here. The hill still gets pleasant sunshine in the evening, and there are hiking trails right on site.
Free place directly beside a very busy road. Anyone sensitive to noise should avoid staying here. Otherwise, it is large and uncomplicated.
Decent spot for one night, slightly set back from the road, although you can still hear it, including at night—that is its only drawback. There is access to nature and a lovely view of the mountains.
I didn't find it very quiet here. Earplugs are definitely needed. Otherwise, though, it's an uncomplicated place and fine for one night!
Good place to spend one night. Good, new and free facilities.
Very large parking area beside the road. Quite quiet at night, but quite a lot of traffic on the road during the day, and lots of wind and rain… the toilets are clean and free.
Picnic area with 3 clean toilets, tables and level parking spaces. Good spot between Åndalsnes and Ålesund. Very windy.
Parking area with gray and black water disposal and a toilet, free of charge. Due to its immediate proximity to the E39, it is not quiet; traffic also flows here at night!
Free gray and black water disposal, plus parking for staying overnight.
Great location, sufficient facilities, thank you.
Recently renovated rest area with fresh asphalt, new building with clean toilets, baby changing table, and black water disposal. Beautiful surroundings. Space for ~30–40 vehicles. Around 10 cars now, so plenty of room. Some spots tucked behind trees, others near the road, but traffic is light. Great stop!
A really nice place to spend the night, with a lovely picnic area with tables and benches. There is a new, nice toilet building compared with the current pictures; unfortunately, I cannot add new pictures. We had a lovely overnight stay and could not hear the traffic from the upper spaces. There is also an opportunity to walk along the old postal road. The only downside was that it was not possible to draw some drinking water.
The toilets were very clean. The place itself is also quite nicely located. Unfortunately, it was unbearably loud at night. We hardly slept and regretted spending the night here.
Excellent stop for the night, large parking area with lovely mountain views. Clean toilets and dump for your own potty should you need it. Bins. Starting point for walking/hiking and all for free, what's not to like.
Ideal for one night as a stopover on the way from Molde to the Geirangerfjord. Highly recommended.
Nice spacious parking area with clean toilets open 24/7. You can go for a lovely walk in nature nearby. It is somewhat busy along the road during the day, but quiet at night.
Very spacious parking area also used by trucks. You will probably always find a spot here. There are clean toilets. However, it is located on a very busy road and you can clearly hear the traffic noise, even with earplugs. It only became a little quieter after midnight, but was very busy again at 7 a.m.
A good stopover for lunch or overnight. Very large car park Easy access for all vehicles.
Everything available as described.
A large parking area with toilets; especially with a dog, you can take a lovely walk here. We thought it was great!
Super beautiful place with a small table, toilet, facilities, and a great walk for dogs. But don't go on Friday or Saturday because a mobile nightclub arrives at 4 a.m. for an hour. See photos. Safe travels, travelers. Nathalie
Place with plenty of room, but quite a lot of car noise in the morning.
