Port parking, no overnight stays

In reality, stopping is not permitted, but since there is no designated motorhome area, they turn a blind eye. We had dinner at the adjacent bar; the staff were very friendly and the food was good. They explained that we should park near the wall. In the morning, the harbor captain came by and told us to park neatly and not leave rubbish. He was very kind and friendly.✦Translating

I would NEVER park around the wall of the marina (left side), last night we were parked there and from 23h to 1h we were surrounded and terrorized by 6 guys, blocking us completely with three cars. Playing and kicking a ball very loudly next to our camper, also yelling around. We called the carabineri but they left by the time they arrived. We left to another place in the middle of the night.

We stayed here last night - it was good! Flat and easy to park. There were cars coming and going until 12am. Not sure what they were doing, as it's a dead end! I found it a bit distracting but the rest of the night was quiet. It was lovely to wake up to the view of the castle!

Free, illuminated parking, excellent for visiting the beautiful town of Castelsardo. It involves a pleasant walk, but it is well worth it.✦Translating

Large parking area at the port with plenty of space and a superb view of the village and castle. Very convenient, with a supermarket, bar, restaurant, laundrette, showers, and toilets. I recommend the small Il Faro Food Bar restaurant at the port; the food is very good and the welcome is warm. Fishing is possible, and there is even a fishing shop. Ideal location.✦Translating

Parking at the port. We walked to the village, about twenty minutes away and quite uphill. Afterwards we ate there and nobody said anything. There is also a fairly large supermarket right there.✦Translating

Very quiet place in the port. No noise and no people passing by. You can park almost anywhere in the port. Good views of Castelsardo. You can walk to the village, although you can park closer. In the morning there are a couple of cafés nearby and a supermarket. There are also public toilets, although they were closed.✦Translating

Actually a good place. However, later in the evening the police kindly but firmly asked us to leave immediately because this is not a place for campervans to spend the night. This is or supposedly is marked by a sign at the entrance. Perhaps it is being checked more strictly now at the start of the season, May 1. No idea.✦Translating

we spent a day and night parked along under the breakwater. Walked up to the castle and around the quiet town. On the Quay area is a supermarket, laundry and bar and was very quiet for the night. In the morning the Police drove past and had a look, with no hassle, but we were moving on anyway. Not sure if overnighting would be tolerated in summer but this time of year no-one took any notice.
