23 Via Isola di Caprera, 58022, Follonica
Been here?
Free parking close to the sea, with the beach about 260m away and bars and restaurants reachable within a few minutes. Overnight stays have been reported without problems, but a recent report says campers were fined because parking was prohibited. The nearby train can be very loud, while the parking is otherwise fairly quiet and has waste bins but no services.

When we arrived, we were alone, which did not seem very reassuring. The train is indeed very loud! After thinking about it briefly, we drove on.
We stayed here for one night without any problems.
We stayed for two nights without any problems. The beach is 260 metres away. There is a restaurant along the way with delicious pizza. Nothing special, but we enjoyed spending two days here. A noisy train runs nearby. Bins are available.
We had a good stay… unfortunately, we received a fine because parking was not allowed. They fined all the campers that were there.
Quiet, free parking with no services. The beach, bars, and restaurants are reachable on foot within a few minutes.
Excellent spot for stopping day or night. Quiet and safe, with green flower beds and little traffic.
The train is very close, but the parking is free, level, and five minutes from the public beach. An excellent place to stay for a few days by the sea.
