This is a parking area beside Porto Vathy beach, with a bay nearby. Access is via Thasos, followed by 5 km without asphalt on a road that is wide enough for all vehicles. The area is busy during the day, while quarry traffic starts around 6am, and the quarry may require visitors to leave the next day.

I came here with my 7-metre motorhome. You have to come via Thasos. There is no asphalt for 5 km, but it is manageable, fairly wide and suitable for any vehicle. I came here in high season, arrived in the evening and left the following evening. It is busy during the day, and even boats arrive, but as we were the first on site we were able to settle in and get the best place.Translating
Very nice place for one night. Keep your car on the side, because early in the morning the big quarry car drives around - needs space. In the evening guy from quarry checks the road so we had to move more to the side and he told us we have to leave next day. Possible to park opposite of the bay. No quarry cars, more sun.
A lay-by beside the road. Quiet at night, but from 6 a.m. onwards lorries drive continuously to the quarry. Impossible to sleep.Translating
