Mountain meadow, unbearable animal smell

A raised, flat grassy pitch beside the road with attractive mountain views and normally quiet nights. Access is very steep, narrow and bumpy, with space for about one van. As of June 2026, a decomposing animal in the bushes caused an unbearable smell.

Considering the alternatives here in the mountains, this was a fine spot. You are just off the road, on raised ground. The access is very steep and bumpy! We initially slipped, but on the second attempt we just managed to get up. Not easy, then. Rear-wheel drive is useful. I would say there is room for one bus. Quiet night!
Very steep, narrow access. But beautiful views.
Perfect place, with privacy, peace, good views and morning sun. We were alone, with maximum space for another van. The entrance is a little difficult.
Grassy platform just off the road to Bejes. Steep rocky entry so might not be suitable for motor homes. Our large van just about made it! Beautiful views & quiet
