Practical riverside site, no toilets

Well-maintained and safe. Strasbourg is 15 minutes away on foot from the station, then 25 minutes to Strasbourg city centre. The area wardens come at 9–10 in the morning and 5–6 in the afternoon to check tickets. If your time has expired, they leave a note on the windscreen; it is not a fine. To fill up with water, only €1 coins work.

Great place to fill up with water and empty all tanks. My motorhome holds 100–110 litres and with €2 I still had water left. The facilities are outside the area.

Very convenient area, close to Strasbourg, ideal for spending the night after visiting it. The village has many shops and markets.

Well-maintained site with pitches that are not particularly wide. Everything you really need is there. 15 minutes to the tram to Strasbourg. Quietness varies depending on the pitch. The pitch markings should be refreshed. If you do not park precisely in the rather tight pitches, you are rightly corrected, otherwise spaces are lost. Some egos are apparently easily offended.

Strasbourg is easily reachable by bike, 5.6 km away. Water and waste facilities work without problems. Quiet, no shade. Electricity (€1/kWh) and water (€1 for about 30 litres) are quite expensive. Checks are carried out regularly—in our case, an inspector arrived after less than 10 minutes. Nearby there is a nice water playground, a calisthenics course and a free observation tower that is highly recommended.

No toilets, no shower. One kWh of electricity costs €1, so it is really just a parking area, and too expensive for that.

Nothing seriously wrong with the parking area itself. Quiet and easy to access. The staff were rude and unpleasant, which makes you feel unwelcome.

On 2 July it was only 40% full. Everything was very nice. In the afternoon, three inspectors arrived one after another. I was too far into the wrong area for the first one—20 cm, even though everything around was empty. The second critically examined my awning. The third almost refused to believe that I travel alone. I think this is what they call micromanagement.

The site is excellent for visiting Strasbourg, with good public transport connections and well-signposted cycle paths. In return, you have to accept that the pitches are very tight. Electricity and water/waste facilities are charged separately. The surface is gravel and suitable even for large motorhomes. We will come back ❤️

I actually find the site fine. Maybe a little tight. Unfortunately, the cassette flush was not working and card payment does not always work either. And in the end, I had already paid the tax for my bed.

In my opinion, it is too expensive, but you stand safely and it is clean.

We arrived at the site today; it is full in the evening. €12, plus electricity and water extra, and then someone from the city comes and charges €2.50 per person as a bed tax. That is unacceptable; I have never heard of anything like it. I will not come here again. It is not about the money, but I think it is ripping off motorhome travellers, even though we also spend money in the restaurants.

Great motorhome parking area for visiting Strasbourg. Ideal by bicycle. We stayed one night and it was very peaceful. Enough pitches are available, including for long motorhomes.

We spent a quiet night. It costs €12 for 24 hours. Dumping is free. Water and electricity are charged separately. In the morning and evening, a man comes by to collect the tourist tax of €2.50 per person per day.

I am not giving more than three stars because, in addition to the €12 per night for parking, it is absurd to also pay €2.50 per person per night in tourist tax, €1 per kWh for electricity and €1 for water. The positive point is the strategic location for visiting Strasbourg, especially for someone like me with a Crit'Air 4 sticker.

We spent the night at this place next to the water-tower structure. It was quiet and safe. There are facilities for dumping, water and electricity. It was full, so we stopped in one of the last spaces. Close to the train stop for going to France. We paid €22 to sleep there and stay during the day.

Practical parking area for travelling into Strasbourg—about 6 km by bicycle. Electricity, water and waste facilities available. Public toilets belonging to the city are reachable within a 5-minute walk; according to the sign, they are open from April to October and only from 9:00 to 20:00, but they are clean. Perfectly adequate for one or two nights.

Good, inexpensive area near Strasbourg, 30 minutes by tram. It has all services. The pitches are fairly level. Perfect if you want to visit the city.

Hello fellow campers, a very nice place to stay for a few days. Unfortunately, once again someone did not want to drive the 20 metres to the disposal point and emptied their grey water directly onto the site. WHY????

A good parking area for cycling to Strasbourg. Reasonably priced.

Everything was as described. We were in Strasbourg's old town by bicycle in about 20 minutes. No problem with the French environmental sticker or the compulsory Angeles Mortes stickers for vehicles over 3.5 tonnes. One star deducted because of the gravel surface.

Great base for exploring Strasbourg by tram, with a stop about 15mins walk away. Nearby access to walks and cycle paths along the Rhine, or to the town of Kehl town centre. Safe and quiet with good services. Good value for €12

Safe place to stay near Strasbourg, we stayed on the way to Austria, it was very busy. But good enough for the price. It was -12 degrees the night and water connection was still working in the morning

Everything is fine. There could be a gate instead of a barrier, as it would be safer, but we did not experience any problems. Close to the motorways. A good place to rest, as you cannot hear the road very much.

The area is perfect for going to Strasbourg. Kehl has nothing, honestly; I live in the Black Forest and would drive straight past it. We came to this area, and they keep making it more expensive. You no longer only pay €12 to be parked tightly packed like sardines, with not even enough space to take out chairs or anything. You are parked here side by side, and a man also comes to charge €2.50 per person staying inside the vehicle overnight.

Quiet site and only 15 minutes to the tram stop. It was perfect for us to visit the Strasbourg Christmas market. We arrived at 2 p.m. and many spaces were free. By 11 p.m., it was completely full.

Excellent area for visiting Strasbourg. Quiet night; there is generally always space, especially in the morning when many people leave.

The area is very well located, quiet and spacious, and not far from the tram stop. Filling the water costs €2. The only problem we had was an annoying neighbour who arrived with his van at 1 a.m. and made noise for quite a while—engine running, walking on the gravel, opening and closing doors... but that is not the area's fault.

Stayed there for visiting the Christmas market in Strassbourg withour issues. Short spaces as said already but all the services are still working now in winter. You can pay for the ticket with credit card but electricity and water only with coins

Nice place for overnight stays, but if you want to visit the Christmas market, a P+R is also a good tip for daytime: Rue Eugène Delacroix, 67200 Strasbourg (Elsau car park; plenty of space for campers and overnight stays are also allowed, but it is more expensive). Then up to 7 people can use the tram for free.

Good place for a visit to Strasbourg! We slept well and safely.

The proximity to the Rhine and the good connection to Strasbourg make up for the cramped camping. The pitches are very tight. There is a pizzeria opposite by the tennis courts; further restaurants can be reached within 10–15 minutes on foot. The same applies to the REWE supermarket. Dog owners can enjoy extensive walks along the Rhine.
