Been here?
A free roadside parking area directly beside a stone beach, with views across the bay toward Nafpaktos and its castle. Beach showers, a tap, rubbish bins, umbrellas, benches and picnic tables are available. The town is about 15 minutes on foot, with restaurants along the way. It can become busy in the evening, but usually quietens down for the night.

free and safe on the side of road
Great location by the sea. Easy walk into town with plenty of restaurants on the way. Stone beach with umbrellas, shower and tap. We stayed for 2 nights, first on our own and the second with two others. Can get busy in the evening but soon quietens down for a good night's sleep.
Ideal for visiting Nafpaktos. There are showers, umbrellas, benches and picnic tables. Little shade, but for a free place, it is already a lot! Very quiet night despite the crowds in town on Tuesday evening …Translating
A great, quiet location on a beach. Close to the center and the fortress. Children’s play area. Shower and tap.Translating
Ideal location by the sea. A 15-minute walk from the center of Nafpaktos. Convenient parking for spending the day and night.Translating
We stayed very well; a very nice spot. We even asked the police in town whether it was allowed, and they said there was no problem. I don't know whether it is the same in high season, but there were five campers and we had a lovely, peaceful night.Translating
Quiet place with a fantastic view of the town and castle. We stayed here as a couple. According to locals, unfortunately it is forbidden in high season.Translating
Car park with a breathtaking view and a good location for the town, about 15 minutes away. Bins, shower and water connection available and already working. Felt very safe; three other campers were parked with us, and we had nice conversations with people out walking.Translating
Nice stop as others have said. It’s walkable to a variety of shops and the town. Castle up the hill but shut Tuesdays. A bit of night noise with barking dogs but not bad and they stopped most of the night. Cold water beach showers which have a tap on and lots of trash bins.
A superb spot on practically flat gravel, facing the sea. We spent two quiet and peaceful nights here, with a magnificent view of the bay and town. Visit the town even in low season; there are people around, and the castle is well worth visiting for its views.Translating
Very nice pebble parking area 10 m from the water. Water hoses are at the end of the car park on the right, road side, right next to the small white chapel and rose bushes.Translating
parking on the road.10 minutes from center. very nice place front of the beach ⛱️
Great spot, with public lights, shower and umbrellas at the beach. We stayed there on August 17th and everything was perfect, except the noise from the passing cars untill 1.00 am
Fine place during the day along the road and by the beach for exploring Nafpaktos. Beautiful town, beautiful castle. The people are somewhat reserved. At night, from Saturday to Sunday, there was a lot of noise until the early hours: a scooter kept racing back and forth at full speed, young people talking loudly, a barking dog, cars driving far too fast… someone even honked as they passed the campers.Translating
Not that quiet. The road is fairly busy and several cars parked on the beach before leaving again. People come to walk, admire the view or put their boat in the water. It remains a good place in a pinch.Translating
Perfect for a daytime stop. We had lunch here and then continued on our way.Translating
Good location 10 minutes walk from the very nice town centre. Water tap, beach shower available. Hard shingle surface next to the water, can get very windy. No noise at night, fairly quiet during the day. 1 other van stayed the same night as us.
We spent a fairly relaxed night here. Depending on how you park, you can hear the road a little, although there is little traffic at night. Perfect starting point for exploring the town. We were also able to fill up with water at the beach shower.Translating
