22 Rue de Savigny, 35300, Fougères
Been here?
Free parking without services, two minutes from the medieval castle and within easy walking distance of the historic town. It is generally very quiet, with little traffic and no street lighting at night. Access uses narrow, winding streets, and the parking is not suitable for vehicles over 6 m, with only a few spaces. It is intended for small motorhomes and vans, with residents requesting no more than two such vehicles.

Very well located for visiting the market and the town.
We spent a very peaceful night; at night there are no streetlights in the village. The next day you are right next to the castle for visiting and walking around the village.
Not suitable for vehicles over 6 metres. At the same time, the motorhome parking area just above, at €25 per night, is outrageous. There is only one space for a vehicle like mine, 7.5 metres long, and there is little chance it will be available. Thanks to the kind comments from the resident of this street, who does not forbid us from parking.
Hello, I live on this street and this parking area is intended for residents, which is why there are few spaces. Please use no more than two vans or motorhomes that are not too large, otherwise we will have no space left and will have to ask the municipality to install a height barrier. Thank you for thinking of us! Have a good trip!
Small, very quiet public parking area on a rarely used street. Ideal for small motorhomes. Brush-clearing goats present! Thank you to the municipality. Recommended.
Well located, but beware: few spaces, and do not bring an overly long vehicle.
I was able to park my 7-metre-long Sprinter.
Free and close to the historic centre.
Stayed one night 2/10/24. Very narrow & winding streets to access parking so approx 6m only. Great quiet spot. Easy walk to city to explore the impressive castle. Plenty of places to eat / drink. No facilities but public toilets not too far away.
Not suitable for campers longer than 6 metres. With my 7.30-metre vehicle, I found the only place where I would not cause inconvenience, positioning the rear on the grassy area and entering on the left, in the corner. About twenty car spaces. Very close to the castle and well shaded.
This shaded parking area seemed safe to us because it is close to houses, and it is also well located for visiting the town. We did not stay for dinner, preferring to go farther on for the night.
There are no services, but you are right in the medieval area, in the lower quarter, in very beautiful surroundings.
Small parking area. No amenities, but quiet and close to the centre.
