A large layby set back from the A7, with bins. Traffic is relatively light at night, and there is no sign prohibiting overnight parking. It is considered better than the stop in Hawick.

Not a dream spot, but okay. Along the A7 there is a set-back rest area about every 2 miles up to Selkirk, then mostly just lay-bys. Relatively little traffic at night, no no-overnight-parking sign, and the place is better than the one in Hawick.Translating
