Been here?
This is a free picnic and swimming area beside a former quarry lake, with picnic tables, barbecues, toilets, bins and walking paths. Access requires travelling a few hundred meters along a track. Overnight stays are not advisable because the area remains busy, even in winter. Young people may play loud music and party through the night, while the lights switch off at 22:00 local time.

This is a great place for lunch or for a swim and a walk around the former quarry. It’s not advisable to stay overnight, as it’s busy even during winter. The place tends to attract young people who play loud music and party all night. Just for your information, the lights go off at 22:00 local time during the winter.
Really nice, large car park with rubbish bins, a chemical toilet, and swimming piers by the crystal-clear water.
We stayed for two days to enjoy swimming and the sunshine. In the evening it was noisy, with music until 2 a.m. But it was a weekend.
Really nice place to spend the night. In the evening till about midnight there were quite some young people with cars. In the morning people with dogs, we had a quite night and a very nice morning swim. There are toi toi toilets, firewood, changing cabin, a little beach, picnic table. Further along the lake there are more picnic tables and a dry toilet.
A great place for relaxation, you can swim, walk around the lake along the walking path
Big parking suitable for large motorhomes, water is perfect for swimming. During the day there were lot of local people, but in the night it was really quiet and we were almost alone.
Good place to stay overnight.
Very nice, large campsite by the lake. The hiking and circular trails around the lake are highly recommended. There are small coves, jetties, and fire pits everywhere. The site itself has beach volleyball courts and a snack bar. However, even at the end of September, many locals were there swimming. So it was neither quiet nor secluded, and the available toilets are dirty and disgusting.
