A quiet roadside parking place in the mountains, beside a stream and the Lauscha fountain route. It has a bench, a drinking-water fountain, nearby hiking trails and an outdoor pool with a kiosk. Overnight stays have been possible, including with a rooftop tent, and the road is quiet at night. The second parking area is an emergency assembly point where parking is forbidden.

We spent one night here with our roof tent! A great parking area in the middle of the mountains! Very quiet at night, even though it is right beside a road. You can hear the stream babbling—wonderful! The small path up the mountain leads to a wonderful viewpoint, including a great sunset in early August. Truly fantastic!
Quiet site on the Lauscha fountain trail with a drinking-water fountain. Beware: the second parking area is an emergency assembly point. No parking there.
